How to Wah Your Plates

Washing of dirty plates is an important factor, because plates need to be washed when used.
Most homes in Nigeria however do not have a dish washer instead we prefer to get our dishes washed manually.
In this post, I will be sharing few simple and basic ways by which our plates can be properly washed and it will be neat.

Step 1: You could decide to wear rubber glove, it is very optional to put the on or not.
Rubber gloves will prevent your hands from germs and it will as well prevent your skin from drying.

Step 2: Drop all the left over food into a bin, to allow your sponge wash the plates properly.

Step 3: Fill the sink with water and add your dish washer. Soak some big plates into the water properly.This will enable you clean them with ease later.

Step 4 : The cups and the spoons should be properly washed first since they go directly into the mouth.

Step 5: Ensure to regularly change your water, whenever you feel that the water is looking too dirty, try to get them changed immediately.

Step 6: After washing, rinse them in running water. Ensure that they are properly rinsed.

Step 7: Use a neat and dry towel to dry the dishes, make sure they are well dried and kept clean.

Step 8: Check that the plates are neat, there should be no item of grease as you run your hand over it, if there is then you may consider re-washing.

Step 9: Wash your sponge properly and keep them dry.

Step 10: Pull off your gloves and dry them to prevent them from smelling.
