Inicié mis estudios musicales a los 9 años. Desde que comencé, sentí gran admiración por el violín por lo que a mis 10 años ya estudiaba este instrumento en el sistema de orquestas de Venezuela hasta la edad de 15 años.
I started my musical studies at 9 years old. Since I started, I felt great admiration for the violin, so at 10 years old I was already studying this instrument in the orchestral system of Venezuela until the age of 15.
Una vez en la Universidad de Carabobo en la carrera de Computacion, me uní a la Orquesta juvenil de Carabobo, de la que fui parte hasta hace unos años y fue así que inicié mi siguiente proyecto.
Once at the University of Carabobo in the Computer career, I joined the Youth Orchestra of Carabobo, which I was part of until a few years ago, and that's how I started my next project.
El cuarteto Cocoa nace por la pasión hacia la música de cámara, está conformado por Gilbert Chavez (1er violín), Alejandro Belandria (2do Violin), Carlos Vasquez (viola), Asdrúbal Barreto (Cello). Tocamos desde música clásica como el Cuarteto Americano de Dvorak Hasta Covers de música Pop.
The Cocoa quartet was born out of a passion for chamber music, it is made up of Gilbert Chavez (1st violin), Alejandro Belandria (2nd Violin), Carlos Vasquez (viola), Asdrúbal Barreto (Cello). We play from classical music like the Dvorak American Quartet to Pop music covers.
Actualmente soy músico solista y me gusta hacer covers de temas pop, baladas y música progresiva.
