Greetings everyone! I trust you're all doing well? š It's your girl @yhubee
I tried something new.
Yes! That's what my Saturdays are mostly about-- trying of something new. If it's not trying to sew new styles ( yes-- I sew š„°), it'd be trying new dishes based on what I can afford.
So today, it started with thoughts of what I should eat as breakfast. I got into the kitchen, found out I still had fruits. I said to myself why not start with the fruits while you prepare a meal.
I then thought of eating the fruit in a different way -- smoothie š„¤š. A friend had once talk of how simple it was to make it. One just has to decipher which fruits he or she would love to use.
I decided to try it out and boom š„, it came out really nice š š.
So I thought š š¤ of sharing with you all how I made my banana and avocado smoothie š.
~ Why did I choose banana and avocado?
Bananas has natural sugar and is a great source of energy. In my recipe, I paired the banana with avocado, a healthy fat source. This combination helps in keeping the blood sugar steady.
Bananas and avocados have been linked to reduction of disease and also provides a wealth of nutrients.
Ingredients
ā¢ Banana
ā¢ Avocado
ā¢ 6 ice cubes
ā¢ milk
My Recipe
I washed and peeled my bananas and avocados
I cut them into tiny pieces
I added banana, avocado, ice cubes and milk to a blender.
I then blended on medium-low speed. I used the tamper as necessary, until it was well combined.
Then I increased the speed to medium-high and blended until very smooth.
That was all for my smoothie making.
I was really thrilled by the outcome š.
The taste was giving, trust me š
