RE: Eat Fat To Burn Fat - Yes, Or Yes?

Having just watched the 2024 Food Revolution Network conference, I am surprised to see dairy fats, meat fats, and coconut oil described as good fats. Coconut oil is the highest saturated fat known to man, and saturated fats are to be ingested sparingly as they contribute to high cholesterol and heart disease. Nevertheless, I thought this was a fantastic take on the prompt! The idea of the ketogenic diet is to reduce carbohydrates and replace these with healthy fats to kick the body into ketosis, by burning through the body's remaining glycogen stores and forcing it to use stored fat for energy. It is not advocated by all as a long-term solution for fat loss due to other knock-on effects to health if sustained. I'm glad you are using it simply as a tool in your arsenal. It's a great example of the cure is in the disease! Thank you for writing for dreem-wotw. I thoroughly enjoyed this read! !PIMP !PIZZA !LUV
