Change is the only thing that remain constant and that is the reason why we have to prepare for every changes. Some weeks ago,I brought my a birds in as a day old broilers and since then some changes has occurred in every part of the birds.

My birds are three weeks old yesterday and they have increased in both size and their mode of feeding. The pen cage couldn't occupied all the birds again and since my the cage is divided in to two step, so I have to moved some of the birds up to make space for the birds.

Space is very important for all living being especially the broilers to help them with free movement and also to make the air circulate between them

What I did before moving the birds

Before moving the birds I have to make sure I put the cage in other. What I first did was that, I spread a sack on the surface of the upper step of the cage to make sure that the feces of the birds at the upper cage won't drop off the birds on the lower cage.

Then after spreading the sack, I make sure I spread some sawdust on the surface of the sack to help in absorbing the water coming from the birds feces.

Then I placed the birds feeder and the drinker in to the upper cage and start taking the birds in.

My birds are twelve in number so since the space at the lower cage is more bigger than the upper cage. I couldn't not divide the number evenly. I put 7 birds on the lower cage and 5 at the upper cage and they are now moving freely.
