I have been trying to describe the world without giving a wrong notion. But how could I do that successfully? We live in a world where insecurity has become the other of the day. All over the world, there are stories of insecurity.
The language of terrorism just evolved in the last few decades. I am not as old but I can vividly remember that there were days when we lived peacefully and happily. There were days when we enjoyed calmness everywhere. But the story has changed now. The world is seriously doomed with insecurity.
Religious Intolerance
Sometimes I wonder why we will have to fight ourselves because of religion. Should not everyone have his or her own preference when it comes to religious affiliation? Should we be allowed freedom of worship as most of our constitution is so enshrined? Why must we fight because of religion? Religious tolerance has become the main source of our deadly conflicts. It is no longer news that there is a serious fight between Christianity and Islam. Why the fight?
If religion is all about killing others then that god must be a vampire. We can live like brethren and worship whatever we please. We should live so. There should be religious tolerance among us.
Setting A New World Order
The insecurity in the world is also triggered by the war between world powers for supremacy. They are attempting to establish a new world order. Or how would you describe the war in Ukraine? What about the constant conflict between Gaza and Israel? The world is in wars! Our present day world is in wars!
My Experience At Home
Nigeria is not at peace. We are experiencing several conflicts and turmoil. Some are economically inclined while others are outright killings. A few years ago, some sects entered our beloved country in the disguise of herdsmen. They are evidently from the Fulani tribe. The rural communities have suffered terribly in the hands of these unscrupulous elements. Nigeria has been terrorized by insecurity.

The insecurity in the world is really diverse. We have it in the internet space. The advancement in technology comes with its own version of cyber crime. What about economic corruption? All these have threatened our existence. May God have mercy on our generation.
