Solo Trip to a Village

As this is monsoon season, so there's greenery everywhere as far as the eye can see 👀. The weather was great, so I decided to travel.

My destination was this village which is famous for a beautiful lake.

I started my journey on a two wheeler. As soon as I entered the village, I realized that I need to refill at a petrol-pump otherwise I'll have to drag my vehicle to find petrol. I asked a village boy, he showed me a grocery shop.
As there is no refill station around so shopkeepers here, sell petrol .
A little expensive but life saving. I bought it : ) I hope it wasn't adulterated.
The shopkeeper refilled by vehicle.

I wonder, why some people don't hesitate to throw garbage in the open.

On the way I saw an egret sitting on buffalo's back but sadly couldn't capture it : ( That is called Mutualism where both the species are benefited.

That one with white flower is Parthenium (carrot grass/congress grass), a weed that came to India with imported wheat. Now it has spread throughout the country.

You'll find more stray cows than buffaloes for obvious reasons. And yes garbage in the open is still a major concern both in urban and rural areas. I don't know what could be an ultimate solution for this.

There was no network on my phone so google map was not an option. After navigating my way to the lake, asking the locals there, I finally arrived.
I was riding around this huge lake. Its an artificial lake built in the 17th century by a ruler to control famines.

Here I am enjoying this scenery and the cold winds.
Some were taking dips in the lake, some having a quality time with their partner or friends, and here I am thinking about getting drenched if it rains. I don't want to ride that far with wet clothes on. Thankfully it didn't rain.

Also there are hills for trekking nearby but I kept it for some other day as I was already anticipating rains.

The trip ends here.
This was my day filled with beautiful visuals.
