Antes vivíamos en una región de tierra caliente, donde el sol siempre brillaba con intensidad y las temperaturas solían ser bastante altas. Mis gatos, aunque eran felices, solían buscar constantemente los rincones más frescos de la casa para refugiarse del calor.
Sin embargo, recientemente nos mudamos a una zona de clima frío, y debo admitir que al principio estaba un poco preocupada por cómo mis peludos se adaptarían al cambio. Para mi sorpresa, su adaptación ha sido maravillosa y bastante rápida.
Desde el primer día en la nueva casa, mis gatos mostraron una curiosidad insaciable. Explorar cada rincón, olfatear todos los muebles nuevos y encontrar sus lugares favoritos se convirtió en una aventura.
El cambio en la temperatura también ha traído algunas conductas nuevas y adorables. Antes, en el clima cálido, era raro verlos acurrucados juntos, ya que preferían mantener algo de distancia para evitar el calor. Ahora, en el clima frío, se acurrucan juntos más a menudo, buscando calor y compañía. Es un espectáculo encantador ver cómo se acomodan uno al lado del otro, formando una masa cálida y peluda de puro amor felino.
También han encontrado nuevas formas de entretenerse. Si antes preferían los juegos tranquilos y las siestas largas, ahora son más activos. Corren por la casa, trepan por los muebles y juegan entre ellos como si fueran gatitos otra vez. Incluso he tenido que adaptar algunos de sus juguetes para que puedan seguir disfrutando de ellos en este nuevo entorno.
Me hace feliz ver que el cambio de clima no solo no les ha afectado negativamente, sino que les ha dado nuevas experiencias y formas de disfrutar su vida gatuna. Mis gatos son la prueba viviente de que, con un poco de tiempo y curiosidad, cualquier ser puede adaptarse a nuevas circunstancias y encontrar alegría en ellas.

However, we recently moved to a cold climate area, and I must admit that at first I was a little worried about how my furry hairs would adapt to the change. To my surprise, their adaptation has been wonderful and quite fast.
From the first day in the new house, my cats showed an insatiable curiosity. Exploring every corner, sniffing all the new furniture and finding your favourite spots became an adventure.
The change in temperature has also brought some new and adorable behaviors. Before, in warm weather, it was rare to see them huddled together, as they preferred to keep some distance to avoid the heat. Now, in the cold weather, they huddle together more often, looking for warmth and company. It is a delightful sight to see how they sit side by side, forming a warm, hairy mass of pure feline love.
They have also found new ways to entertain themselves. If before they preferred quiet games and long naps, now they are more active. They run around the house, climb over the furniture and play with each other like they're kittens again. I even had to adapt some of their toys so they can continue to enjoy them in this new environment.
I am happy to see that climate change has not only not adversely affected them, but has given them new experiences and ways to enjoy their wildlife. My cats are living proof that, with a little time and curiosity, any being can adapt to new circumstances and find joy in them.
