If you've ever been interested in the subject of aliens and all that, you've noticed that they have some pretty strange behavior. It seems that they are very secretive and that only a few earthlings are lucky enough to see them, leaving aside the fact that they also have favorite places to make their appearances. The film industry has been in charge of showing the United States as the preferred place for invasions and sightings, but let me tell you that in Argentina we also have our headquarters chosen by them and it is located precisely in Cerro Uritorco, province of Córdoba 👽.

Pareciera ser que son muy reservados y que solo algunos terrícolas tienen la suerte de verlos, dejando de lado el hecho que también tienen lugares favoritos para hacer sus apariciones. La industria cinematográfica se ha encargado de mostrar a Estados Unidos como el lugar preferido para las invasiones y avistajes, pero dejenme decirles que en Argentina también tenemos nuestra sede elegida por ellos y se encuentra precisamente en el Cerro Uritorco, provincia de Córdoba 👽.
For some reason, it seems that UFOs have chosen Cerro Uritorco as a good place to hang out and be mysterious. This hill is the highest in the entire Sierra Chicas mountain range in Córdoba, which is why they have probably seen it from outer space and thought it was a good place to base themselves here on Earth. Of course, the town of Capilla del Monte located at the foot of this hill has taken this idea and transformed it into a great business that is the main tourist attraction. If you are walking around there you will see different businesses that offer UFO merchandising, from clothing, accessories, souvenirs, ornaments to anything you can think of. The business is also oriented towards everything energetic and spiritual, so you can also find all kinds of precious stones, bracelets, rings, necklaces and handicrafts 😃.
Por supuesto, el pueblo de Capilla del Monte ubicado al pie de este cerro ha tomado esta idea y la ha transformado en un gran negocio que conforma el principal atractivo turistico. Si te encuentras paseando por allí podrás ver distintos negocios que ofrecen merchandising de OVNIs, desde ropa, accesorios, souvenirs, adornos hasta cualquier cosa que se te ocurra. El negocio también está orientado a todo lo energético y espiritual, por lo que también se puede encontrar todo tipo de piedras preciosas, pulseras, anillos, collares y artesanías 😃.
The truth is that more people only see marketing than actual sightings, but it is interesting to be part of all the mystique for a few days while you are on vacation. There are those who say that they really met these beings and that their life has changed after that, as they really feel "chosen" by the extraterrestrial beings and some say that they have even "been called by them to come visit this hill". This is uncheckable, so it's just a matter of believe or bust 😅.
Lo cierto es que es más la gente que solo ve marketing que avistamientos reales, pero es interesante formar parte de toda la mística por unos días mientras estás de vacaciones. Hay quienes dicen que realmente se encontraron con estos seres y que su vida ha cambiado después de eso, como que realmente se sienten "elegidos" por los seres extraterrestres y algunos dicen que hasta "han sido llamado por ellos para venir a visitar este cerro". Esto es inchequeable, así que solo es una cuestión de creer o reventar 😅.
What I believe is that life is an absolute mystery and that the universe is so large that it cannot be that we are the only living beings that have developed, so the existence of extraterrestrial beings does not seem so far-fetched to me. What I'm not so sure about is if they will be as cute and cuddly as in all these drawings and sculptures, but this is a separate thing ✨.
Lo que yo creo es que la vida es un misterio absoluto y que el universo es tan grande que no puede ser que seamos los únicos seres vivos que se han desarrollado, por lo que la existencia de seres extraterrestres no me parece tan descabellada. De lo que no estoy tan segura es de si ellos serán tan lindos y tiernos como en todos estos dibujos y esculturas, pero esto es algo aparte 👽.
I read about some of the testimonies of people who have encountered these UFOs or have seen them in some way, and the one that surprised me the most was the case of a large spot that appeared on the hills in 1986 and remained there for three years. This stain was circular in shape, more than 100 m in diameter, and was only soot on the grass: witnesses to the event said that it was a large flying saucer landing on the mountain. Leí sobre algunos de los testimonios de las personas que se han encontrado con estos OVNIs o los han visto de alguna forma, y el que más me sorprendió fue el caso de una gran mancha que apareció en las sierras en 1986 y permaneció allí por tres años. Esta mancha era de forma circular de más de 100 m de diámetro y solo era tizne sobre el pasto: los testigos del hecho dijeron que se trató de un gran platillo volador posándose sobre la montaña. Pero lo más increible es que un tiempo después hubo un incendio forestal en esa zona y todo ese círculo no fue afectado por el fuego... Una vez más, creer o reventar. ¿Qué opinan? 🙃

Of course I was not going to leave Capilla del Monte without taking some souvenir related to Unidentified Flying Objects. I ended up buying this cute patterned hair tie: it only cost me 400 ARS (approx. 1.5 USD), a reasonable price for a small item that will surely get you a lot of use. The good thing is that there was so much offer that you could choose the souvenir that you like the most according to your budget 😃.
Por supuesto no iba a irme de Capilla del Monte sin llevarme algún souvenir relacionado a los Objetos Voladores No Identificados. Terminé comprando esta colita para el pelo con un lindo estampado: solo me costó 400 ARS (1.5 USD aprox), un precio razonable para un pequeño artículo que seguramente le dé bastante uso. Lo bueno es que había tanta oferta que podías elegir el souvenir que más te guste de acuerdo a tu presupuesto 😃.
