Hey!
It's been a while since I actually wrote something in this community.

Well, my life has been almost the same, but I'm trying to be a better version of myself in various ways. It's kind of challenging and fun at the same time.

A couple weeks ago, my bestie who's living in the US challenged me into doing something I haven't really thought of. She said she's been gaining weight recently and wanted to lose some at least before Christmas. Since it's boring to do it by herself, she asked me to do a "Biggest Loser" challenge.

The rule is that at a given time, we have to lose some weight and the person who lost weight the most would win. It's not really a challenge and it's quite obvious that she'd win. It's difficult for me to lose weight and I've been in a plus size ever since I was young. No matter how I live an active lifestyle, I don't really lose weight. haha

Despite that, I agreed with her. I thought, I should at least be consistent with my exercise for my health's sake. If I do so, I will have more than enough energy to go through with my everyday activities without getting tired easily. In addition, having a goal would keep my motivation and not stop midway.

It has been a couple weeks since then and I have been exercising almost every day. It's not that intense, but I at least ride the stationary bicycle for at least 30 minutes. The progress has been great so far. I don't feel tired easily, I don't have insomnia these days and could sleep pretty well. I believe sleep has been the best benefit it has gotten me.

In the past, I used to sleep around 3-4 in the morning. In worse cases, I could sleep around 5-6AM and I'd feel awful. Good thing I have a flexible schedule at work, so I tend to start working in the afternoon. However, I still don't feel that well-rested and at the same time, I don't feel very productive.

Now, I'm able to change my body clock and my work schedule. I could sleep at 1-2AM at the latest then wake up around 8 in the morning. I could start working at 9 in the morning and end my shift early in the evening because of my fixed Skype classes in certain days. I then exercise around 9 in the evening... then from 10, I get extra time to make my blog or do other hobbies because I have extra energy to spare.

When I had insomnia, I didn't have the energy or the drive to do anything. I just stare blankly at the ceiling waiting for my body to get extremely tired.

I'm really happy these days and my mood improved a lot. Of course, there are unavoidable problems, but I don't have this negative aura in me anymore. I'm feeling so much better.

It's funny how I don't really think about the challenge anymore, but it was a great way to get me started. Surely, even after the challenge, I'd continue exercising to keep this positive vibes in me.

Lastly, I'd like to share another thing. In my past posts here, I've mentioned about this certain guy I used to like for a long time. Last month, he sent me a message that he's now married and that he wanted me to wish him well and be happy for him.

I honestly thought I'd get hurt somehow, but what I actually felt was freedom. It's as if a chapter of my life has finally ended. I guess, this was something that I've been hoping for for a long time. I have loved him and he will always be someone special because he made experience something and taught me something.

I guess it's true that everyone you meet has a part in your story. His was a really long chapter that was left blank for a lot of pages... and then one day, a full-stop appeared. I wish him well and his future family.

As for me, I don't know if there will be a time that I'd fall in love again. Despite my door being closed, it's actually unlocked... so anyone can enter if they dare. LOL But really... being romantically in love is great, but it's not the only love there is. <3 I love who I am becoming at the moment, and that's a really amazing thing. I feel that I'm loving myself even more these days... and I'll continue to do so.

Anyway, let's end it here because I want to catch up with some manga before going to bed soon. It's not yet midnight, but I'm actually kind of sleepy now. hahaha Until next time!!!
