Yesterday the Department of Education, Division of Bukidnon, organized a Learning Resouce Developer Recognition Day to acknowledge the accomplishments and services of writers, authors, illustrators, and content editors.
The agency recognized me as one of the authors. So I was awarded by the Schools Division Superintendent with a certificate of recognition for being the writer of the Science Learning Modules in Junior High School.
For the past years, I have been developing instructional materials and learning resources for learners at the school, division, and regional levels.
Aside from this, I am also a Greening Program Content Reviewer in Science at the National Level. Not to mention that I have been awarded for three consecutive years by the Department of Education, Bukidnon as the Most Outstanding Teacher in the Junior High School.
Every award comes with a background tale. Perhaps every glorious triumph has a heavy story. The difficulties of schedule, a poor Internet connection, getting less sleep, eyestrain, and other issues are just a few, but I always find a fair vision in life amidst the chaos.
Being one of the module writers and authors for the modules of the learners in Junior High School is a tremendous honor I could receive.
When the day of the recognition came, it took me two hours to travel to the venue. I was very early, so I took the opportunity to take a lot of selfies.
I also took a group picture together with my friends in other schools who were also awarded the Certificate of Recognition as Authors.
And the program started at 9 a.m. with an inspirational message from the Learning Resource Manager.
She stated in her message that she was very grateful to one and all for spending the great days putting a significant impact on the lives of the learners despite the pandemic in molding and guiding them.
After the program, I got the chance to take a snap with her, together with the content editor of the learning resource that I developed and other colleagues.
In the program, the Education Program Supervisors handed the Certificate of Recognition to all writers, content editors, and illustrators.
I was filled with a priceless moment of gladness as I received the certificate of recognition. I felt happy that I had made a difference in the lives of the fantastic learners by making learning resource material. And that, despite the pandemic, learning did not stop, and educating young minds has to go on.
Everybody remembered that during the Learning Resource Developer Recognition Day, we all were genuinely happy to be recognized and acknowledged by the Division of Bukidnon.
I sincerely thank the Department of Education, Division of Bukidnon, for this acknowledgment and recognition.
I had a fantastic opportunity to learn and explore further my teaching explorations, and everything paid off.
Moreover, I wish to glow and grow deeply. As I move on through time with a soothing heart, here I am, aspiring to shine and grow deeply by reflection. Today, I am cheerfully observing the fair weather through the open fields with optimistic hopes that the eternal summer will not fade. I happily see life at a greener angle against the blue sky with the puffy clouds dancing pleasantly.
Nevertheless, rocky roads did not hinder me from breathing such a beautiful life from within, which made me constantly look at every bit of rock with precious stones of hope and showed that any craggy road cannot beat a resilient soul who never gives up no matter what happens, for, in the end, the smooth road will always dominate at its fullest.
And as I move closer to look for a glimpse of light, I see a narrow road on the other side facing towards the verdant trees through a broader horizon with the eagerness of my bold heart.
Suddenly, I realized that I have to stay away from any excellent expectations for the best adventures begin with only a scratch plan, yet appeared to be the most gracious and glorious plan on the most minor expected moment in a day of my life.
And then I followed my heart to chase more of the positivities over the negativities to make my landscape even more radiant and inclining to attract more of every marvelous gift from above with considerable depths of humility. Today is so meaningful to affirm that I am born to be ordinary with no real standout yet boundless to carry on.
Indeed, every glorious triumph has a heavy story. No one has become successful without enduring life battles and challenges, for the road to success will always be very difficult, and it takes a brave heart to conquer all the trying times and glorious moments. And what is more satisfying each day is to wake up with a grateful heart and be ready to combat life for a tale of despair, for today is a series of glorious triumphs tomorrow.
Perhaps the best part of this honor is the learning opportunity to share with coworkers and friends, proving that everything is achievable if one is just motivated by positivity with the skills, knowledge, and development, along with the quality assured learning resources in the entire region and central office.
I am always grateful for every humble achievement in my workplace, especially for the guidance and trust given to me to be one of the authors in the modules for the learners despite the challenges. And now, I am ending the year with a bang.
