Lil Uzi Vert Drops New Single "NFL" Alongside Music Video
Philadelphia rapper Lil Uzi Vert has just released a brand-new single titled "NFL," accompanied by a visually striking music video. While Lil Uzi Vert's previous track, "Just Wanna Rock," unofficially became a soundtrack for the Philadelphia Eagles' NFL season, this new song carries a different meaning. The title "NFL" is actually an acronym for "never fall in luv," as indicated by the title screen in the video.
Directed by Be El Be, the music video blends carnival-inspired visuals with scenes featuring Lil Uzi Vert himself. In one scene, the rapper is seen dining with a lizard tongue, while in another, he's counting stacks of cash on a pool table. The video takes an even more surreal turn as Lil Uzi Vert raps atop a comet-smashed car, with comets drifting by in the background. It's a visually captivating experience to complement the track's unique vibe.
Lil Uzi Vert's previous work includes the 26-track album "Pink Tape," released in July. Serving as a follow-up to 2020's "Eternal Atake" and its expansion "LUV vs. the World 2," the album showcased the rapper's distinctive style. "NFL" is rumored to be part of Lil Uzi Vert's upcoming LP, "Luv Is Rage 3," although no official release date has been announced.
