Cockpit waterfall is located on Norfolk Island's north coast near Cascade Bay.
A short walk through the green field and past the roaming cattle you will find a nice little board walk which over looks the falls.
The flow of this waterfall fluctuates depending on rain fall. So the first time we went to check it out there was only a trickle going over the edge.
After a night of constant rain we headed back the next morning and the waterfall was in full effect.
I decided to cross the creek and hike along the cliff to get a better shot of the waterfall. As the view from the platform just didn't cut it for me.
I wanted to try some long exposure shots of this waterfall. So I set my camera to manual iso 100, F10, 1/6. With a 4ND filter on my tamron 28-75 lens.
The end result turned out pretty cool!
It's always fun trying long exposure during the day. I still have alot to learn, but fun none the less.
