Visit the Mayan ruins of Tulum, on the shores of the Caribbean Sea and under a scorching sun.
The cultural heritage of this area is impressive, a pity that the archaeological remains are not in the best of conditions, anyway, we did not come only for the historical character but to enjoy a totally exceptional natural environment.
Definitely, I am not going to recommend you to visit the famous tourist towns, Cancun, Playa del Carmen or Tulum itself are tourist swarms with little attraction in my opinion.
What is really worth it are the jungle, the endless beaches, the freshwater lagoons and the cenotes.
Besides, the fauna is also really incredible, iguanas, monkeys, turtles of all kinds and jungle birds.
We only have two more days left in Yucatan, tomorrow we go to Cancun and the next day we take the plane back home...
Everything happens so fast when you're on vacation, right?
