Welcome everyone to the next station of the Prague Metro. Today we will look at the Lužiny station located in the neighborhood called Stodůlky.
Vítejte všichni v další stanici Pražského metra. Dnes se podíváme do stanice Lužiny nacházející se ve čtvrti se jménem Stodůlky.
The station platform is 7 meters below the surface. The construction of the station is of the dug-out type. There is only one exit in the eastern direction leading to the Lužiny housing estate.
Nástupiště stanice je 7 metrů pod povrchem. Konstrukce stanice je hloubeného typu. Výstup je pouze jeden východním směrem vedoucí do sídliště Lužiny.
The designer Stanislav Šrytr is behind the project and the architect was Patrik Kotas. The wall coverings are made of white glass. Completed with stainless steel elements. The station also has artificial palm trees in glass balls. I still don't understand why this design element was placed here.
Za projektem stojí projektant Stanislav Šrytr a architektem byl Patrik Kotas. Obklady stěn jsou z bílého skla. Doplněné nerezovými prvky. Ve stanici jsou i umělé palmy ve skleněných koulích. Doteď jsem tento designový prvek nepochopil, proč zde byl umístěn.
The area around the station is a classic socialist housing estate from the late 1980s. In addition, it was raining heavily when I took the photos and I was not equipped for this type of weather.
Okolí stanice je klasické socialistické sídliště z konce 80. let 20. století. Navíc když jsem pořizoval fotografie hustě pršelo a já na tento typ počasí nebyl vybaven.
