VINTGAR-SLOVENIA

Hello dear Community !
It’s me again 😀
Today was hiking day. My boyfriend and I went to Vintgar - that's in Slovenia. We started the journey at 8 o'clock. It is 160 km from our home, which means a 2 and a half hour drive. That's why we arrived around 11:30 in the morning. Of course, when we arrived, we drank coffee and went on our way. The path is 1.6 km long, through which the Radovna river flows. It is located on the eastern edge of the Triglav National Park, 4 km northwest of the center of Bled. During the journey, the camera was in use the entire time, so we moved along the path slowly. It was interesting to watch the river rushing through the canals, once strong and loud, but after the bend calm and quiet.

The paths in the gorge are very nicely arranged with many wooden bridges. As we continued our journey, a large railway bridge came across us. It was huge and wonderful. The Šum waterfall, which is located at the end of the path and where you can take a break or buy a souvenir, provided a nice end to the walk.

When you finish the route, you have two options how to continue the route back. Since we were not in a hurry, we chose a longer route. Which turned out to be a great idea. We saw many viewpoints on this route. We had a short rest on the way.

The wandering lasted 4 hours -all together.
Since we still had time, we stopped at Lake Bled, where we took a boat around the lake.
