By the way, I haven't added any stories from Moscow to my pinmap yet. It's time to correct this omission. Today's photos were taken during my last travel to Moscow in May 2021 (exactly when BTC have pumped down... Memories!)

A b-w triptich!
I met up with a few of my old friends who don't visit me in St. Petersburg. I drank beer with them, talked to them about life, photography, music - in general, a lot of things have accumulated to talk about over the past years (I haven't visited Moscow for a long time). By the way, one of my friends works as a photographer at the Kremlin Museum, and the photo above was taken at his workplace. This is me = in the frame, looking at a collection of vintage cameras. On the right you can see the model "Viliya-auto" - if you are interested, it was my first camera, it was on it that I took my first steps in photography in the 1990s. Well, in my hands I have an "Amateur" camera - a Soviet replica of the Rolleiflex TLR - a wonderful medium format, analog quality ... with its help all the photos in this post were taken.
Я встретился с несколькими своими старыми приятелями, которые не приезжают ко мне в Санкт-Петербург. Выпил с ними пива, поговорил с ними за жизнь, фотографию, музыку - в общем, много о чем скопилось поговорить за прошедшие годы (я давно не посещал Москву). Кстати, один из моих друзей работает фотографом в Музее Кремля, и фото выше сделано на его рабочем месте. Это я =в кадре, разглядываю коллекцию винтажных камер. Справа вы можете увидеть модель "Вилия-авто" - если вам интересно, это была моя первая камера, именно на ней я делал свои первые шаги в фотографии в 1990-е годы. Ну а в руках у меня камера "Любитель" - советская реплика Rolleiflex TLR - прекрасный средний формат, аналоговое качество... с ее помощью и сделаны все фотографии в этом посте.
I am just Kidding!! All photos were taken as usual with my travel kit: Canon 5D + Sigma 50mm. I just held this TLR camera in my hands and, of course, couldn't take it out of the museum. Although it would be great to practice an analog photography session under the guidance of older and more experienced comrades. Alas, it did not work out in my life with analog photography, although my mother at some point developed and printed photographs with her own hands, I even found a photographic enlarger device lying around in our closet...
Шучу!! Все фото сделаны как обычно моим комплектом для путешествий - Canon 5D + Sigma 50mm. TLR я просто подержал в руках и конечно не выносил из музея. Хотя было бы здорово поупражняться в аналоговой фотографии, под руководством старщих и более опытных камрадов. Увы, в моей жизни не сложилось с аналоговой фотографией - хотя еще мама проявляла и печатала фотографии своими руками, и я застал валявшийся у нас в кладовке фотоувеличитель.
Ok, less words - more photos! Although, this frame also requires explanation. Can you guess what is shown in it? Flip it... yes, it's just a pictogram of a train running on rails. But upside down it is someone's face; very cool, isnt it! I am very fond of recognizing faces in my environment, with a help or without #googlyeyes.
Ок, меньше слов -- больше фото! Хотя, этот кадр тоже требует пояснений. Угадаете, что изображено на этом фото? Переверните... да, это просто пиктограмма поезда, идущего по рельсам. Но в первернутом виде - это чье-то лицо, очень клево! я обожаю видеть лица в окружающей меня среде, как с помощью #googlyeyes, так и без нее.
A nice scene on the street. 'Beauty minute'. Just a nice scene, peeped on the street: a motorcyclist stopping in front of a traffic light tints her lips. Everyday life of the city as it is!
Просто приятная сценка, подсмотренная на улице: мотоциклистка, остановившись перед светофором, подкрашивает себе губы. Повседневная жизнь города как она есть!
Posters on the streets live their life. I was very pleased to discover the GORILLAZ poster.
Постеры на улицах тоже иногда живут своей собственной жизнью. Мне было очень приятно обнаружить постер GORILLAZ.
There are a lot of bikes and scooters on the streets of Moscow. Of course, I did not take pictures of them ... but it was absolutely impossible to walk past some of them with your back turned!
На улицах Москвы куча велосипедов и самокатов. Конечно, я не фотографировал их... но мимо некоторых пройти отвернувшись было абсолютно невозможно!
Interesting graffiti, and a passing cyclist also noticed and explore it. The inscription says in Russian "I died" - however, the last letter is painted over with other graffiti on top, so it is impossible to confirm my guess exactly.
Интересное граффити, и проезжающий велосипедист тоже обратила на него внимание. Надпись означает на русском языке "Я умер" - впрочем, последняя буква закрашена сверху другим граффити, так что точно подтвердить мою догадку невозможно.
More graffiti... in fact, I devoted a whole separate day to going into the city alone, and looking for graffiti - if you don't know the place in advance, it turned out to be quite a difficult task: the central streets are well "cleaned" of this kind of art... but in dirty back streets, you can still find something.
Ещё граффити... на самом деле, я посвятил целый отдельный день походу в город в одиночку, и поискам граффити - если не знать заранее места, это оказалось довольно непростым делом: центральные улицы неплохо "очищены" от арта такого рода... но в грязных непарадных закоулках, еще можно кое-что найти.
Very interesting place! At least visually. This is the entrance to the 'Black Swan' pub. Perhaps it would be more correct to name it "Magpie" or "Magpie's Nest" - judging by amount of broken, old, useless and abandoned things including books (!) that were used to decorate its display and entrance ... A real magpie nest!
Очень интересное место! Это - вход в паб "Черный лебедь". Возможно, его правильтнее было бы назвать "Сорока" или "Сорочье гнездо" - если судить по тому, какая куча сломанных, старых, бесполезных и брошенных вещей (включая книги (!)) использована для оформления его витрины и входа... Настоящее сорочье гнездо )))

And sorry to finish my post on such a sad note. A wretched old man (beggar) at the street. It is almost impossible to see them on the main streets of the city, but one of them caught my eye. I honestly photographed and added to the post everything that I saw during that walk.
