I love black and white for when the sky is dull. I'd cycled from Poland down to Koper just in time to enjoy Christmas near the sea. The sky was gray; days were chilly. After a month sleeping on the road and under the snow, a few days of rest felt refreshing. I was solo in a country whose language ties our tongue before we attempt to spell the words. Hours went by as I meandered near the port, admiring the boats, envisioning new adventures.

I got in love with that old wooden sailboat. It looked abandoned, which immediately triggered me, for if I had something like that I'd be sailing all over the place. One day perhaps criptos will buy me a decrepit boat.
