Ich bin weiterhin von der kleinen Mittelmeerinsel Korsika begeistert, und kann und will es nicht lassen, euch weitere Eindrücke davon zu präsentieren. Dies mal nehme ich euch mit auf eine kleine Wanderung im Landesinneren auf den Col de Bavella (1218 m). Die Wanderung war leicht und wenig anspruchsvoll, denn ich geniesse gerne auch die Umgebung, als mich stundenlang körperlich auszupowern.
I am still enthusiastic about the small Mediterranean island of Corsica, and I cannot and will not refrain from presenting you with more impressions of it. This time I'm taking you on a short hike inland to the Col de Bavella (1218 m). The hike was easy and not very demanding, because I like to enjoy the surroundings rather than physically exerting myself for hours.
La pequeña isla mediterránea de Córcega me sigue entusiasmando, y no puedo ni quiero abstenerme de presentarles más impresiones sobre ella. En esta ocasión, te llevaré a una pequeña excursión por el interior hasta el Col de Bavella (1218 m). La caminata fue fácil y poco exigente, porque me gusta más disfrutar del entorno que esforzarme físicamente durante horas.
Der Weg führte uns von der Passhöhe Col de Bavella, welche der Ausgangpunkt von dutzenden Routen ist, weiter hinauf. Zuerst durch den Wald mit Farn gesäumten Boden, bis über die Baumgrenze, wo der Weg auch einwenig steiniger wurde und wir froh waren unsere Trekkingschuhe dabei zu haben.
The path led us from the Col de Bavella, which is the starting point of dozens of routes, further up. First through the forest with fern-lined ground, up to above the tree line, where the path also became a little stonier and we were glad to have our trekking shoes with us.
El camino nos llevó desde el Col de Bavella, que es el punto de partida de decenas de rutas, más arriba. Primero a través del bosque con suelo de helechos, hasta por encima de la línea de árboles, donde el camino también se volvió un poco más pedregoso y nos alegramos de tener nuestros zapatos de trekking con nosotros.
Eine der Hauptattraktionen, neben dutzenden von Aussichtspunkten mit wunderbarem Panorama, ist das "Trou de la bombe", ein Loch im Bavella-Massiv. Da es aber in der Hochsaison hier nur so von Touristen in leichten Sneakers wimmelt und wir uns davon gestört fühlten, haben meine Freundin und ich uns kurzerhand entschlossen, noch einwenig höher zu steigen, weg von den Touristenmassen.
One of the main attractions, besides dozens of viewpoints with wonderful panoramas, is the "Trou de la bombe", a hole in the Bavella massif. In high season, however, it is full of tourists in light sneakers and we felt disturbed by them, so my girlfriend and I decided to climb a little higher, away from the tourist crowds.
Una de las principales atracciones, además de decenas de miradores con maravillosas panorámicas, es el "Trou de la bombe", un agujero en el macizo de la Bavella. En temporada alta, sin embargo, está lleno de turistas en zapatillas ligeras y nos sentimos molestos por ellos, así que mi novia y yo decidimos subir un poco más arriba, lejos de las multitudes de turistas.
Unsere spontane Entscheidung, die Touristenmassen hinter uns zu lassen und ein wenig Ruhe zu finden, hat und uns einige hundert Meter weiter und 200 Meter höher zum Gipfel "Calanca Murata" geführt. Und wir wurden mit einem atemberaubenden Panorama belohnt. So konnten wir bis zur Küste in Richtung Porto Vecchio sehen.
Our spontaneous decision to leave the tourist crowds behind and find a little peace and quiet led us a few hundred metres further and 200 metres higher to the "Calanca Murata" peak. And we were rewarded with a breathtaking panorama. We could see all the way to the coast towards Porto Vecchio.
Nuestra decisión espontánea de dejar atrás las multitudes de turistas y encontrar un poco de paz y tranquilidad nos llevó unos cientos de metros más allá y 200 metros más arriba hasta el pico "Calanca Murata". Y fuimos recompensados con un panorama impresionante. Podíamos ver toda la costa hacia Porto Vecchio.
Auf der Passhöhe wird man von der "Notre Dame des Neiges" begrüsst. Sie soll die Wanderer auf ihrem Weg beschützen. Einige Touristen haben an diesem Nachnittag von diesen Schutz auch Gebrauch machen können. Denn als wir uns bereits auf dem Rückweg befanden, zogen sich, wie vorhergesagt, dicke Wolken über dem Bavella-Massiv zusammen und erste Blitze zuckten, begleitet von Donner, vom Himmel herunter. Zu meinem Erstaunen kamen uns aber weiterhin munter weitere Touristengruppen und junge Familien mit dreijährigen Kinder entgegen, obwohl sich das Unwetter bereits 30 Minuten später in voller Stärke über unseren Köpfen entlud. Wir befanden uns dann bereits in unserem Van und blieben dadurch trocken.
Doch hatten die Rettungskräfte Korsikas trotzdem die Hände voll zu tun, denn sie retteten an diesem Tag über 500 Touristen vom Berg und aus den nahen Flüssen.
At the top of the pass, you are greeted by the "Notre Dame des Neiges". She is supposed to protect the hikers on their way. Some tourists were able to make use of this protection on this afternoon. As we were already on our way back, thick clouds gathered over the Bavella massif, as predicted, and the first flashes of lightning came down from the sky, accompanied by thunder. To my astonishment, however, more tourist groups and young families with three-year-old children continued to meet us, although the storm was already unloading in full force over our heads 30 minutes later. We were already in our van by then and thus remained dry.
But the rescue forces of Corsica still had their hands full, because they rescued more than 500 tourists from the mountain and the nearby rivers that day.
En la cima del puerto, le recibe la "Notre Dame des Neiges". Se supone que debe proteger a los excursionistas en su camino. Algunos turistas pudieron hacer uso de esta protección esta tarde. Cuando ya estábamos de vuelta, se acumularon densas nubes sobre el macizo de la Bavella, tal y como estaba previsto, y los primeros relámpagos bajaron del cielo, acompañados de truenos. Sin embargo, para mi asombro, siguieron saliendo a nuestro encuentro más grupos de turistas y familias jóvenes con niños de tres años, aunque la tormenta ya descargaba con toda su fuerza sobre nuestras cabezas 30 minutos después. Para entonces ya estábamos en nuestra furgoneta y así nos quedamos secos.
Pero las fuerzas de rescate de Córcega aún tenían las manos llenas, porque ese día rescataron a más de 500 turistas de la montaña y de los ríos cercanos.
