There's beauty in endings...

It was a tiring day but with a sunset as beautiful as this, it felt like we made the right choice taking the southwestern route from Cebu City. A booked room in Panagsama means we can have a sunset view at the shoreline just a few minutes away from where we will be staying that night. My husband who had been driving for hours happily joined us with his camera after taking his daily meeting. It was nice to be with the people who matter while just witnessing the sun setting down.

The cliche that not all endings are indeed sad is true that includes a fine day ending at a beach and we were not even swimming! By the end of our day in Moalboal, we were satisfied that our eyes had feasted on such beauty. I praised God, the ultimate artist for giving us this day to appreciate and just exclaim how wonderful His creations are! Indeed, the heavens declare His glory!

On the other hand, I saw a couple of foreign and local tourists in Moalboal and according to the lady at the restobar where we had our breakfast the next day, this is so much better than during the pandemic. Before, she mentioned that motorcycles can't even pass by the streets of Panagsama due to the crowd, that's how many the tourists were but during the pandemic, the tourists were gone, all was left were the residents of the town, then came the typhoon which had damaged several of the properties around.

Still, the business owners are now glad that slowly, tourism is starting to come back.
