"STREET WITNESS" - Street photography from Montalbán, Venezuela - Week 03

tcats.jpg

Hello friends, photography lovers!... This is the third edition for my colour street photographs made by me under this format of publication which I wanted to call "Street Witness"... And today these photos correspond to a selection made among the more than 5000 photos I shot during the month of October ending yesterday...

📷 01- "Maria recalling the past"

T02.jpg
📷 02- "Very early on Sunday"

October was a very diverse month. I can say that my photos were very, very heterogeneous... So these dozen photos selected for today reflect the eclectic and full of things month which has just ended...

T03.jpg
📷 03- "Epitaph on Ivan's wall"

T04.jpg
📷 04- "Notoriously grumpy"

As I always do, all my photos were captured in RAW format... So for this publication I allowed myself to process each one of them a bit more, let's say, "expressive" than I am used to. So using Adobe Camera Raw editing, I played with increasing the saturation, contrasts, definition and depth in these photos, to the point of giving them (in my opinion) an almost painterly aura and with a dramatic touch suitable to my expectations of today...

T05.jpg
📷 05- "Collage with manual mill, typewriter and Atari 2600!"

T06.jpg
📷 06- "Someone is having a better time than me!"

As some of you have seen me say in my publications: "I'm a kind of frustrated painter with marked bipolar biases"... So doing these "Spartan editing" sessions is for me a very pleasant catharsis to carry out.... It's not for nothing that making and editing photos is something I love to do on a daily basis!

T07.jpg
📷 07- "Street portrait for my friend Rafael Tarazona"

T08.jpg
📷 08- "From that sweet October morning with a street peacock"

I'm looking at these pictures and I feel really lucky to have such a diverse universe of images at my fingertips. Sometimes I ask myself things like: Are all places like this?... Or are we the ones who unconsciously generate all these things to photograph?... (Yes, I know, I'm starting to sound weird, but you know how I am)...

T09.jpg
📷 09- "Another mural in vain"

T10.jpg
📷 10- "8-ball in Carlos's pool hall (AKA: Carlos the Arrow)"

However it is, taking these photos, walking these streets, editing these photos and constructing these publications, and then sharing them here with you on #Hive, it's the kind of thing I love to do... I find that #Hive, despite the fact that I live in this remote corner of Venezuela, has made me immerse myself in a fascinating way in Web 3.0 and that's something that's lovely to happen...

T11.jpg
📷 11- "Small intrusion at Doña Clara's window"

T12.jpg
📷 12- "100 years of the blue door"

Thank you very much for your visit and appreciation!

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... The pictures are then exported to JPG format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.
