A moonlover's tale... Pt 2

Hi photography lovers it's been a while but I'm back with some renewed energy and creativity!

If you read my related post:@gvkanten/a-moonlovers-tale
You know that my wish of properly capturing the moon finally came true when I borrowed a 55-250mm zoom lens for my Canon M50.... Well, I used it so many times during in that short period that I decided to buy myself one 😁.

And of course to celebrate, I had to focus on getting proper moonshots!
After all it is one of the reasons why I got it in the first place!

So without further ado, I present to you the Buck Moon (July 2021)!

I decided to start early because much to my amazement this lens can capture the quarter or half moon even during the day.
One might even say that those shots are more interesting than a straight forward full moon.. But I'll let you decide for yourself...

Full moon at night!

I'm happy with the shots but I do realize that I need to challenge myself to take another step. So I think my next challenge is going to be to capture the moon this sharply WITH something in the forefront on the composition. Think a full moon over the ocean with the light reflection... Or a full moon over a mountain... I'm not sure how to do it yet but I'm sure there is some editing involved (unless you have a sup lense I don't know about)
I'm thinking of using Double Exposure but any and all tips are welcome! Who know we could start a little moonlover's club 😁

Well, that's it for me today! As always you can connect with me in the comments for feedback, questions or anything else...

Cheers!
