On the fence

IMG_0024.jpg

Sometimes life can be thorny, hostile and spiny. And the closer you get to a milestone, the harder it may look to keep going. It has happened to all and will keep happening. The biggest the change we are after, the tougher are the obstacles we face, leaving us confused, questioning, on the fence. But we should never forget that below the thorny cover there is a juicy reward waiting for us.

Just like prickle pears :)

I like to think of life as a cactus fruit. Maybe not for some, that seem to have come to this earth to experience a soft, easy life but for all the others. Life can be sweet and enjoyable but it won't be offered easily. And we have to do our best in order to reach the juicy part, without getting hurt.

Random thoughts of a photographer, catching the morning light on a familiar route.

Maybe that was a more appropriate title for my post but then again I never go for a graspable, descriptive title. What's the point of reading a post if you already know what it is all about, from the beginning?

I say.

I prefer an ambiguous phrase with an elusive meaning, inviting you to enter the path of words that will make things clear as you cross it. Doesn't it sound more interesting?

Or maybe "message in a bottle".

An even more intriguing title, especially when there is no message for you to find. But it wouldn't be fair, to trick readers promising something that doesn't exist.

Unless you do find a message after all!

Or even a meaning to my babbling :)

Happy October to all of you and remember, don't let the prickles scare you. The juicy reward is right underneath!

The camera that I used is a Canon EOS 6D mark II with an EF 24-105mm f4/L zoom lens attached. I edited the photographs in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic

All the pictures and the words are mine.
