Shark Fin Cove is one of my favorite spots along the coast in Santa Cruz county. It is right next to the small coastal town of Davenport. The cove is named after a huge sea stack that is shaped like a shark fin sticking out of the water when viewed from the correct angle.

There was a bit of a haze when I shot these photos that allows you to see the light during golden hour. It really came through with this shot of myself basking in that light.

Davenport is an old town that was built to support the workers at the cement factory. The factory is now abandoned but the small town still thrives due to the scenic surroundings.
