Underwater in the Komodo Islands

My last post was about topside Bali. Now I want to take you underwater, but a few islands away. These photos were taken over the course of several scuba dives among the Komodo Islands.

I've been diving in locations all around the world, from Hawaii, to the Belize, to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. However, nowhere matches the underwater beauty of Indonesia. The colors on the reef here are magnificent, The marine life is plentiful, and best of all the water is so warm!

Indian lionfish are native to these reefs, but still a danger to divers if you accidentally bump into one of their poisonous spines.
