Hello friends!
One of my favorite activities is photographing candle flames. This happens infrequently, because we use candles only on holidays. And even then, not for everything. Usually these holidays are Christmas and New Year.
That's when I manage to fully realize my desires as a photographer. Filming should be done at night. Then the bright flame will look most impressive on a dark background background.
The main thing in this case is not to burn the camera. Because you have to shoot not only in normal mode, but also in macro mode.
The ideal setting for shooting when there is no draft in the room. Then the candle flame does not waver at all. Very convenient.
In addition to the flame itself, melted paraffin is also of aesthetic interest. It forms very beautiful and intricate shapes. They can be viewed endlessly.
There are also candles that, as they say, "do not cry." That is, the melted ones do not flow down. Then you can photograph only the flame itself. Sometimes burnt wicks are very bizarre. In general, there is a lot of material for shooting. Have you tried to take this kind of photography?
