Skógafoss falls

Iceland is a place that's full of wonderful landscapes. Here's some great places that I visited while I was there.

(1) Pingvellr National Park
Pingvellir is home to Eurasian and North American plates and probably the best-known place to see the tectonic plates above ground. The tectonic plates are actually moving apart by a few centimetres each year!

(2) Gullfoss Falls
The Gullfoss falls is part of the Golden Circle Drive that is popular with visitors. I wanted to walk closer for a better shot but the ground was slippery and I almost fell. I decided that my life was more important than having that nicer shot and settled for this instead.

(3) Seljalandsfoss Falls
The Seljalandsfoss falls is a waterfall that is located on the South Coast of Iceland. It is one of those falls where there's a path to walk behind the waterfall!

(4) Skógafoss Falls
The Skógafoss falls is one of the biggest waterfalls in Iceland. As the waterfall produces a large amount of spray, you will be able to see rainbows like that in the photo on sunny days.
