Penguins at Boulders Beach

I definitely relate to penguins more than any other animals, they are pretty awkward -looking and walk kind of funny when wandering around on land but swim so majestically and fast in the sea... and just like these water birds, I feel far more comfortable swimming than land activity.

I truly love admiring these animals as well, they are so fascinating!

If you love penguins and want to see these cute little creatures in person without going to an aquarium then I definitely suggest visiting Boulders Beach down in Cape Town! These African penguins call this part of the sandy beaches in Cape Town home.

Did you know that penguins mate for life? Isn't that just the sweetest thing ever?

The male penguin will search all over for the most beautiful and perfect smooth rock and present this as a gift to his female penguin, if the female approves she will place the rock in her nest and those two penguins will stay together till death do they part!

African Penguins used to be known as jackass penguins...

We stood for the longest time just watching these little birdies hop in and out of the waves, swim around happily and sun bathe on the rocks.
