Hello music lovers! 🎵
It's Tuesday, time for #threetunetuesday, and a chance for me to share something I'm listening to.
Yesterday was the day when summer was definitely over, well, at least here and in the surrounding area. From an average of 22-25 degrees Celsius, the temperature dropped to 9-12. It is quite cold now. In order not to get too cold and chilly, I told myself that I needed to warm up with music and summer festivals to keep in my memory at least a little bit of that summer feeling of exuberance and joy.
For those of you who are not (yet) familiar with #threetunetuesday or #ttt - these are tags you need to set when you post.
It's a music initiative started by @ablaze, and with his words, the jist is as follows:
Every Tuesday I'm going to share 3 songs that I like to listen to and I invite your feedback in the comments below. Better still, why not have a blast of your own Three Tune Tuesday and mention me in the post, I'll come and find the post and upvote it. If you could also use #threetunetuesday tag that would be great, as that is what I use when sifting through all the entries every Wednesday. It'll be a sweet way for us all to discover new music. You'll also be in with a chance of winning the prize.
So, to continue with the music, I've picked out a few clips of bands I like from summer festivals, it doesn't compare to the feeling of being there, but it's still something.
Maybe I (and you) will be tempted, if not sooner, at least next year, to visit something like this and get into the flow of music, partying, and fun.
Ezra Collective - No Confusion
Ezra Collective is a younger (I'm playing jazz my way) band from England, activated in 2016 by London-based Nigerian virtuoso drummer Femi Koleoso. They have released two albums so far, although they are quite active (well, they stopped playing together when Femi went on Gorillaz tour as a touring drummer)...
Their last album, last year's 'Where I'm Meant To Be', won them the prestigious Mercury Prize for Best British Album. Why prestigious? Because it's £25,000, and they were a complete surprise because jazz bands don't usually get that.

Viagra Boys - Sports
Viagra Boys is a Swedish post-punk band from Stockholm, formed in 2015. The band's success is certainly mostly due to frontman Sebastian Murphy, a former tattoo artist and alcohol and drug addict. He writes all the lyrics and is known for his dark humor and satire, as well as his criticism of right-wing conspiracy theories.
They have released three albums so far and are very heavily concentrated at big festivals, last year as support to Queens Of Stone Age, now on their own.

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard - Gaia/Motor Spirit
Australian rockers KGLW from Melbourne, who have been playing since 2010, are one of my most listened-to bands in recent years. They play all kinds of music, but they are best known for their microtonal style, playing all genres from psychedelic to metal, blues, and more. They are extremely prolific, releasing albums like clockwork, and have already released four this year. I have about eight of them myself :) 😎
Since I couldn't decide which one to post, I've posted two :)
One is more metal and the other is more jazzy improvisation. You decide which one you like more.
Both videos are from Red Rocks Park, a rocky amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado.
