𝚈𝚄𝙽𝙶𝙱𝙻𝚄𝙳
Howdy to all the amazing musicians of the #Music Community. Yesterday I finished watching an anime series that I loved and of which I also made a post leaving my opinion about it (you can read that post here).
But today I want to talk a little bit about the musical band of this anime, especially the Intro, since it is one of the few songs that I have loved since I heard it for the first time and in fact, in each chapter I let the Opening play just to listen to such a great song. So today I'm going to tell you about who plays it, he calls himself: YUNGBLUD.

Pero el día de hoy quiero hablar un poco de la banda musical de dicho animé, más que todo del Intro, ya que es una de las pocas canciones que me ha encantado desde que la escuché por primera vez y, de hecho, en cada capítulo dejaba que sonara el Opening sólo para escuchar tan grandiosa canción. Hoy les hablaré de quien la interpreta, se hace llamar: YUNGBLUD.
So today I'm in a rocking mood because I'm feeling much better after being in bed due to a super rude virus that incapacitated me during the last week. Since I'm feeling better, I'm feeling pretty excited and today I wanted to investigate more about this peculiar singer who, from what I can tell, is an artist on the rise.
Así que el día de hoy ando con un ánimo rockero hasta le médula, esto debido a que me siento muchísimo mejor luego de haber estado en cama por una virosis super ruda que me incapacitó durante la semana pasada. Como ya estoy mejor, me siento bastante entusiasmada y hoy quise investigar más sobre este cantante peculiar que me por lo que noto, es un artista que va en ascenso.
As you can see in his photos, YUNGBLUD is a very extroverted singer who changes his look whenever he can, which on the one hand pleases me because it tells me that he accepts himself as he is, with his somewhat crazy expressions and that he feels very comfortable being able to express himself that way and in turn, his public accepts him that way.
Also I dare to say that his vocal and musical style reminds me a bit of The Rasmus, while his look is a bizarre mix between The Raven and the vocalist of the Green Day band in its beginnings. It also seems to me that he tries to mimic Marilyn Manson style a lot, to get attention with his looks and become more famous. He's very young, I guess he's in his discovery stage as an artist, something he identifies with, so let's wait and see how he does.
Como pueden ver en sus fotos, YUNGBLUD es un cantante bastante extrovertido que cambia de look cada vez que puede, lo que por una parte me agrada ya que me dice que se acepta como es, con sus expresiones algo locas y que se siente muy cómodo al poderse expresar de esa manera y a su vez, su público lo acepta así.
Además me atrevo a decir que su estilo vocal y musical me recuerda un poco a The Rasmus, mientras que su look es una mezcla bizarra entre El Cuervo y el vocalista del grupo de Green Day en sus inicios. También me parece que intenta imitar mucho el estilo de Marilyn Manson, esto con el fin de llamar la atención con su aspecto y hacerse más famoso. Es muy joven, supongo que está en su etapa de descubrimiento como artista, algo con lo que de verdad se identifique, asi que esperemos a ver qué tal le va.
I imagine you're wondering why I'm telling you about him today and I'm not done saying anything (LOL 😂) I'm coming to that. He sings a hit song called Abyss which is the Opening of the acclaimed anime series Kaiju N° 8. But what's so great about the song as such? For me, it's the lyrics and it's even more special to me because one of the people who wrote it was none other than Dan Reynolds (lead singer of Imagine Dragons).
Imagino que se están preguntando por qué les hablo hoy de él y no termino de decir nada (LOL 😂) voy a eso. Él canta un exitazo llamado Abyss que es el Opening de la aclamada serie de animé Kaiju N° 8. Pero ¿qué tiene de bueno la canción como tal? para mí, es la letra y me resulta aún más especial porque una de las personas que la escribió fue nada más y nada menos que Dan Reynolds (vocalista de Imagine Dragons)
For me, it is a SUPER HIT or as they would say in my country a shot to the ground. For that reason, I consider it a success. Besides, the song draws attention and causes impact because it is sung entirely in English when usually Japanese groups or singers become famous due to the popularity of an anime by using their song for an Opening or Ending. In this case, I was captivated by his voice, his style but most of all to see the name Dan Reynolds in the credits of Kaiju N° 8.
Para mí es un SUPER HIT o como dirían en mi país un tiro al suelo. Por tal razón lo considero un exitaso. Además, que la canción llama la atención y causa impacto porque es cantada totalmente en inglés cuando por lo general son grupos o cantantes japoneses que saltan a la fama por la popularidad de un animé al usar su canción para un Opening o Ending. En este caso me cautivó su voz, su estilo, pero más que todo ver el nombre de Dan Reynolds en los créditos de Kaiju N° 8.
I don't know if there are any anime fans in this community but I still share it with you the Opening so you can understand the emotion it made me feel, I mean, besides being very well done, everything goes according to the rhythm of the song and it was super catchy. It's already my favorite song by this singer. Although he has collaborated with other artists like Avril Lavigne, I will keep digging into his music just out of curiosity since his style doesn't catch me.
No sé si habrá algunos fans de animé en esta comunidad, pero igual les comparto el Opening para que me entiendan la emoción que me hizo sentir, es decir, además de estar muy bien hecho, todo va acorde al ritmo de la canción y se me hizo super pegajosa. Ya es mi canción favorita de este cantante. Y aunque ha colaborado con otros artistas como Avril Lavigne, admito que seguiré indagando en su música sólo por curiosidad ya que su estilo como tal no me termina de atrapar.
To tell you the truth, coming across the song that Lavigne released recently was a surprise for me, since the guy as such I hadn't recognized him, I confused him with Modsun who the artist was dating and since then it was like X after knowing that they ended their relationship. But after knowing that he is the same artist who sings Abyss, things change, I mean, something good had to see Dan Reynolds in him right? So I'll give him a chance and listen to his best songs and see if I become his fan.
La verdad, toparme con la canción que lanzó Lavigne hace poco fue una sorpresa para mí, ya que al chico como tal no lo había reconocido, lo confundí con Modsun con quien salía la artista y desde entonces fue como que X después de saber que terminaron su relación. Pero tras saber que es el mismo artista que canta Abyss, la cosa cambia, es decir, ¿algo bueno tuvo que ver Dan Reynolds en él verdad? así que le daré una oportunidad y escucharé sus mejores canciones a ver si me vuelvo su fan.
His second most famous song is called Parents and well, it's not entirely to my liking. I've heard better songs. He also released his version of the classic I Was Made For Lovin' You, theme song used in the movie Fall Guy, which I liked, both the performance of his version and the film itself.
Su segunda canción más famosa se llama Parents y bueno, no es del todo de mi agrado. He escuchado mejores temas musicales. También sacó su propia versión del clásico I Was Made For Lovin’ You, tema musical usado en la película Fall Guy, que me gustó mucho, tanto la interpretación de su versión como el film en sí.
