Hello, it's three tunes day. C'mon, let's have a blast with this.
For the record, #ttt (Three Tunes Tuesday) is an ongoing initiative which is organized by @ablaze for all music lovers. Catch the full gist about that HERE.
For some reason, I decided to write this post in the early hours of the day just because I was awake throughout the night. However, just when I was about to start writing, I had to get into an impromptu conflict resolution call with one of the teams I work with.
The reason for the conflict was due to a report from a Community Member. He was concerned that the Community Manager was misusing his power. I joined the call and we spent an hour on that particular discussion.
By the time we wrapped it up, I got into another meeting. This time around, it was a meeting on Google Meet with the Web3ArtistAwards team.
Well, that's how my morning was spent. This evening is the time for my Three Tunes highlight for this Tuesday.
1. Cleanin' Out My Closet by EMINEM.
I like to share Eminem's songs because I like the message, the vibe, and the real-life stories embedded in his songs. This particular one felt like what you would expect someone to sing when he is tired of seeing BS in life.
It's actually a song that hits hard about reality. The storytelling in the song has the flow that has become a trademark for a lot of his songs. Another fabulous thing about this song, as far as I'm concerned, is that it's evergreen.
2. Gangsta's Paradise by COOLIO.
This is one of those songs which I won't be forgetting any time soon. For real, it almost feels like a lot of these old songs hits the spot in many ways. I have a sentimental attachment to this song and it's not a surprise. Coolio really gave his best to make this a masterpiece.
Coolio died two years ago. However, a piece of music will keep his memories alive in many people.
3. Play With Fire by SAM TINNESZ.
When I first listened to this song, I couldn't stop wondering what would be going through the mind of firefighters whenever they hear the song. Haha. The song is actually dark-themed. This is the song that introduced me to Sam Tinnez.
I always say I would like to see an official music video for this. It's been a long time already. So, the chances of it happening is low. I'm still somewhat optimistic... Fingers crossed.
That's it for today's edition of Three Tunes Tuesday although it came so much later than I planned. Lol.
Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop or Comma.
