The one thing that I'll say about buying suppliments is that they are not at all of the same quality, so it's important to learn to discern those that are useless, ineffective, or even harmful, from those which your body can actually use, and which are actually good for you. Choose those derived from natural, organic, real foods, fruits, plants, and the like. Also, regarding minerals, it's very important to get those where the inorganic mineral molecules are bound to organic molecules (chelated forms), which makes them far easier for the body to use.
