Today was another gloomy day - with this same massive two-day storm front moving through the GTAH (Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area) and other areas west of, I woke this morning to thunder and heavy rain this time.
The storm, dumping 50mm on Monday, is expected to dump an additional 50mm today on already saturated grown.
Resultingly, wave heights along the lake are incredibly high;
Examining the Grand River feeding eventually to Lake Ontario, volumetric height was above 15ft near Hidden Valley!
The flow rates of such were incredibly high as well, largely affecting other rivers surrounding.
After getting ready, finishing up my hydroponics, indoor botany and plantings, I made a cup of coffee and breakfast while working on my crypto-finances and work while examining the weather.
After breakfast, it was around 10am when everything was said and done and I got ready for another rainy day!
Later, I had a pleasant meal and decided to have an early afternoon nap.
Waking up nearly four hours later, I felt refreshed but lazy yet and did not really feel up to do much due to the weather today.
I did however go out for a nice walk and began through the underground tunnels;
The walk itself was beautiful however, even with the overcast,
And the lake,
Even nicer with the fall foliage backing;
Upon arriving home, I prepared some dinner and relaxed for a bit.
