Hi friends, I hope your Saturday was sweet and savory.
My day started early, around 4am. My daughter woke up with a fever (don't worry, just a cold and she's okay :). After getting her some medicine and putting her back to sleep it was about 4:30am. And I remembered there was a dCrops BETA Pack Opening even on the Hive Pizza Discord Server. Perfect timing!
I hopped on discord, and the event was in full swing. I had a great time hanging out. There were lots of giveaways and I won this rare Tulip Seed card.
I was excited to start playing dCrops. I opened up a few BETA packs, bought a few average plots of land, and planted my first springtime seeds!
I really like the game so far. Time is sparse these days, so a game where I can quickly check-in, and do a few tasks like plant a seed or harvest a crop is perfect.
My daughter slept and recovered most of the day. I did some house chores, read Hive posts, and was able to watch some soccer games in the evening. I'm taking part in the HIVE FPL mini-league this season which is great fun.
At the end of the day, I hit 9,650 steps. Like yesterday, just a few hundred steps below my daily minimum goal which is so frustrating. From now on I'm going to make more of an effort to check my steps before bed and try to hit at least 10k every day next week.
I try to participate in the Alive Chat drawings every day. Today I thoroughly used my daily 15 PIZZA and 10 ALIVE tips and engaged with many great posts.
Today is my 51th #Actifit report and 41th consecutive day of participating in the #IAmAliveChallenge! I am happy to report I am #AliveAndThriving.
