Refreshment break continued.
The last time I had an udon lunch was here.
After lunch, I decided to visit the Nogata Auto-Camping Site (Nogata Auto Camping Site) as a place where I could go and come back with plenty of time to return my rental car.
This time, I am not staying at this campsite, but just going to see it really simply to visit and walk around the area and see "I wish I could stay at this campsite in the future".
This campsite is a free campsite run by the city.
It is a nice campsite that utilises the banks of the river that runs through the city and was a place I had always wanted to visit.
As you can see from the aerial photo map, the area circled in red is roughly the campsite area.
There are two rivers flowing through the area, both of which have beautifully maintained riverbeds, and from upstream to downstream, a very large area was used for parks, parking and baseball fields.
The campsite is one of them, and although it is not such a large site, there are still 15 plots and it is possible to park a car next to it.
As indicated by the sign, there is a stairway down to the river, where you can take a canoe.
It is clearly stated that firearms are strictly prohibited outside the campsite.
The riverbed was spacious with beautifully mown grass.
It's a very beautiful place.
There are a number of bridges from upstream to downstream, reminding you that you are in the city, but otherwise the babbling river and the beautiful mountains in the distance make it a place where you forget you are in the city.
Opposite the campsite is a river office of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
Immediately next to the river office is a building called the Mizuibekan, which serves as a local disaster-prevention facility.
The Mizuibenkan has exhibits that tell the history of flood damage to the Ongagawa River and the importance of protecting oneself from floods and other flood damage, as well as the importance of flood control such as civil engineering works.
The building is also designed to protect the rich natural environment of the river and to raise awareness of the importance of protecting the animals and plants that live in the river.

The waterfront pavilion is built on the river bank and has a car park at the bottom of the bank.
The car park was a place where you could park your car for free for a short while if you needed to use the facilities in the area or take a break during your lunch break, so I parked my rental car here and walked around.
From the car park, I climbed the stairs to the waterfront pavilion on the bank.
On the stairs is a metal nameplate inscribed with a record that says: "During previous heavy rainfall, the river level rose to this level", indicating that the water had rushed up to an astonishing position.
Riverbanks should be played and camped on with due attention to rainfall conditions.
If there is a dam upstream, more care is needed.
We humans should always be grateful to nature and have a sense of awe, without forgetting that we are "renting a place from nature" and are allowed to play.
It is very meaningful to have a building like the waterfront pavilion right next to the campsite.
The waterfront pavilion was not being used on this day and the area was quiet.
There was information about the riverbed being a very important place for wild birds, the exterior of the building and a sign saying that this place is '20 km from the sea'.
If you look across the river, you will see a white building.
The system is that you apply to use the auto-camping site online in advance, and on the day of use, you go to the reception desk at that city hall to receive the keys and other necessary items for entry.
An introduction to this auto-camping site can be found on the city hall's official website.
It introduces the campsite as an urban campsite where you can quickly get what you need as there are supermarkets, convenience stores and shopping streets around the campsite, which is right by the river that runs through the middle of the city.
Urban campsites are accessible and convenient, so it is easy for a lot of people to use them.
With that, the possibility of users who do not follow the manners and rules entering the campsite increases.
However, I have the impression that this Nogata Auto-Camping Site has been clear of such problems for a long time.
It seems to me to be a very quiet and clean facility that everyone takes good care of, and that has been my impression for about 10 years now.
I am sure that they have fostered an atmosphere where everyone follows the rules. It's wonderful.
It was a weekday, a Thursday, and I saw about five groups of people camping.
It is against the rules for non-campsite users to enter the site, so I did not go inside the campsite this time.
But I was very happy to see the scenery from this side of the bridge.
It was a beautiful place to visit, even though it would probably be beautiful anywhere else in this beautiful green season in early June.
I felt wonderful for everyone who manages and operates the campsite in this way, and for all the well behaved users.

I have had a bit of this before, but since the beginning of this year I have really become vulnerable to pressure fluctuations and I find myself incredibly unwell according to the weather.
When a rainy day approaches, I have an extraordinary headache, my shoulders and back ache and I lose my energy.
If it doesn't fluctuate too rapidly, the 'wet weather' itself is fine, but this is quite annoying.

リフレッシュ休暇の続きです。
前回、うどんランチを食べた時の記事はこちらです。
ランチの後、レンタカー返却まで余裕を持って行って帰って来られる場所として、私は「直方オートキャンプ場（Nogata Auto-Camping Site）」へ行ってみることにしました。
今回はこのキャンプ場に宿泊するのではなく、本当にシンプルに周辺の見学と散歩に行くだけで「将来、私もこのキャンプ場に宿泊できたらいいな」と思って見に行くのみです。
このキャンプ場は、市が運営する無料のキャンプ場です。
市内を流れる川の河川敷を活用した素敵なキャンプ場で、私は一度訪れたいと思っていた場所でした。
航空写真地図を見ていただけると分かるかと思いますが、赤い丸で囲んである場所が大体キャンプ場エリアです。
2つの川が流れていて、どちらも河川敷が綺麗に整備され、上流から下流にかけて、公園や駐車場や野球場等にとても広いエリアで活用されていました。
キャンプ場はそのうちの1箇所で、そんなに広いサイトではありませんが、それでも15区画あって車を横付けすることも可能です。
立て看板の通り、川に階段から降りられるようになっていて、カヌーに乗ることが出来るようです。
キャンプ場以外の場所は火器厳禁であることが明記されています。
河川敷は芝生が美しく刈り揃えられていて広々としていました。
すんごい綺麗なところです。
上流から下流にかけていくつもの橋がかかっていて、ここが街の中であることを思い出させてくれるのですが、それでなければ川のせせらぎと遠くに見える山々が美しいので、市街地にいることを忘れてしまうような場所になっています。
キャンプ場の向かい側には国土交通省の河川事務所があります。
この河川事務所のすぐ隣に、地域防災施設として「水辺館」という建物があります。
水辺館は、遠賀川の洪水被害の歴史を伝えることや、洪水などの水害から身を守ること、また土木工事等の治水の大切さを伝える展示があるようです。
また、自然豊かな河川環境のを守って行くことや、河川に住む動植物愛護の啓発も目的として作られている建物だそうで、事前に申し込んで、学校教育の社会科見学に活用されているようです。
（事前予約なしでは入場できませんでした）
水辺館は川の土手の上に建設されていて、土手の下に駐車場があります。
その駐車場は、この周辺の施設に用事があったり、昼休みに休憩をしたり、といった用途で少しの間であれば無料で車を止めておける場所だったので、私もレンタカーをここへ止めて周囲を散策しました。
駐車場から階段を登って土手の上にある水辺館へ行って見ます。
階段には「以前の大雨の時にはここまで川の水位が上昇した」という記録が、金属の銘板に刻んで取り付けられていて、びっくりするような位置まで水が押し寄せてきたことが分かります。
河川敷は降雨の状況に十分注意して遊んだりキャンプしたりする必要があります。
もし上流にダムがある場合はもっと注意が必要です。
私たち人間は「自然に場所を借りて遊ばせてもらっている」という気持ちを忘れることなく、自然に感謝すると共に、畏れる気持ちも常に持っていなければいけません。
キャンプ場のすぐそばに水辺館のような建物があるのはとても有意義なものだと思います。
水辺館はこの日は利用者はおらず、あたりは静かでした。
河川敷は野鳥にとってとても大切な場所であることや、建物の外観、この場所が「海まであと20km」という標示などがありました。
川の向こう側を見ると白い建物があります。
事前にオートキャンプ場の利用申請をインターネットから行い、利用当日にあの市役所の受付へ行って入場に必要なカギなどを受け取ると言う仕組みだそうです。
こちらのオートキャンプ場の紹介は、市役所の公式ホームページに掲載されています。
街の真ん中を流れる川のそばのキャンプ場ですから、周りには、スーパーマーケット、コンビニエンスストア、商店街があるので、足りないものはすぐに調達できる都市型キャンプ場ですよ、と言うことが紹介されていて、まさに私もその通りだと思いました。
都市型キャンプ場はアクセスが良く、便利なので、たくさんの人が利用し易いです。
それに伴い、マナーやルールを守れない利用者が入場する可能性も高くなります。
しかし、こちらの「直方オートキャンプ場（Nogata Auto-Camping Site）」は昔からそのような問題をクリアされている印象が私にはあります。
とても静かで綺麗でみんなが大切に利用している施設であるように私には感じられて、それは10年くらい昔からずっとその印象です。
きっと、みんながルールを守る雰囲気を醸成しているのだと私は思います。素晴らしいことです。
この日は平日の木曜日でしたが、5組くらいの方々がキャンプしているのが見えました。
キャンプ場利用者以外の人がサイトに立ち入るのはルール違反ですので、私はキャンプ場の中には今回は入っていません。
でも、橋のこちら側から風景を見ることができて私はすごく満足しました。
6月上旬のこの緑の美しい季節であればどこへ行っても美しいと感じてしまうのかもしれませんが、それを差し引いても美しい場所でした。
このようにキャンプ場を管理・運営されている皆さん、そしてマナーを守っている利用者の皆さんを素晴らしいと感じました。

■ひとこと日記
以前にも少しはあったのですが、今年に入ってから本当に気圧変動に弱くなり、天気が悪くなるに従って自分でも信じられないくらい体調不良になってしまいます。
雨の日が近づいてくると、覿面に頭痛がして肩や背中も痛くなり、元気がなくなってしまう私です。
急激に変動しなければ「雨天」そのものは大丈夫なのですが、これはかなり厄介ですね。
