What do you do when you hit rock bottom

There are these moments in life where we just hit rock bottom. No glimpse of hope whatsoever and you look in all directions and you see nothing. You check out all alternatives and none seems to be promising. Even people who had backup plans watch all these crumble to the ground before their eyes and one can only ask at this point:

Where do I go from here?

It is a hard time in the life of everybody. Such valley moments get you thinking on so many "IFs" and "Maybes".
You begin to think of numerous things you could have done differently that could have prevented this situation. It is a place of so many regrets and had I known kind of thoughts.
But one thing I have always learned from such moments in life is how quickly the tables can turn. One day you're on top of the World. Up there on the mountain top with that kind of feeling that says I have made it and I am securely on the top. In a quick moment, you come crumbling down and the fall so swift and fast.

That's life for you and the more reason you should not be carried away with pride. Be kind, be humble, love and respect others. Be kind to those you meet on your up because you will meet the same people on your way down and the treatment you gave them on your way up is what you get on your way down. It is so difficult to believe again and pick up the pieces and rise again from rock bottom moments. Many just give up and disappear.

But I come to tell you, you can rise again. Look up and cry out to the Lord. Acknowledge him and express your need for his help. Most of the times, the reason we even get here is because we ignored him and his warnings in the first place. We fail to acknowledge him or seek his will on our decisions, plans etc. It's funny how we can easily prevent some of the falls in our lives by just seeking his guidance before embarking on some of these roads that lead us to terrible and tragic ends.

Hope we learn from this and always remember to look up in such moments. It is never too late to return. His arms are always wide open to receive you and he is able and willing to raise you up to an even higher place if you would listen and obey.
