Low blood pressure can be a killer -- I have experienced things like that after long walks -- fortunately my walking partner knew what was happening to me. When the body exhausts its supply of sodium or potassium, it can be very dangerous ... indeed God sent you the right information and the right memory at the right time.
I do believe that sometimes God allows people to fail us to remind us that He is our help, and we can safely turn to Him sooner than we turn to people who may indeed love us, but are not equipped to understand our deepest needs.
