Our expectation is our Hope

Hello Hiveans! Warm greetings dear friends. An interesting contest by @phoenixwren about hope.

Its definitely hope that keep us moving forward. When I and my husband together lost our jobs, during covid period I was dumbstuck. Not knowing what to do. To be frank, in the beginning I was so happy as all family members are at home. But slowly the scenario changed.

When financial pressure increased, it was such a tough time. Gradually, things started coming to a normal process by taking up what ever came our way. Sometimes we don't get to do something of our choice, meaning we have to adjust with what we get by chance.

Writing is something which I like. Though not a professional, I kept writing for my school magazines and journal. My children who were aware of this gave me the information about Hive. Now, that's a hope for me mentally and physically. Though writing sometimes is stressful, it is something that I enjoy.

It is not only we human who anticipate hope. Few months ago, there was something interesting that happened to my cat. It was playing out. All of a sudden it happened to see few birds around and in a hurry to catch one of them, got stuck in a small çoconut tree.
We tried bringing it down, but in vain. Then my husband got a ladder so that it could climb down. All our efforts had no end result and the poor little thing was stuck.

But the smart and clever cat, after looking around the environment, moved upwards and caught hold of another branch less tree and from there slowly moved down. When our efforts qas a total failure, the branch less tree was its hope.

The above pictures was its adventure on top of the coconut tree.
