Kali lives in a small town called Waterine (because it is surrounded by a big ocean). Kali is married to Ella and she is pregnant for him. Kali hunts whales, he extract their oil and sell them to big officials in different town. He has been into this hunt for a very long time and was given a rank, because he is strong and good at hunting the whales. This oil extracted from whales is what help Kali's town to survive and have money.
Kali quits hunting and decided to spend more time with his pregnant wife. He was living happily with his wife.
He stopped hunting whales and getting oil for the town for about a year before one day, the chief leader of the town called him to his office. The leader of the town told Kali that the town was lacking oil to sell and it was affecting the towns little economy. He told Kali to be ready, that he should take some men and go hunt whales and bring back forty oil barrels filled with oils.
Kali told the leader that hunting whales was dangerous and risky and was why he quit hunting. The leader begged Kali and also told him that he will pay him huge amount of money if he return with the oil barrels. Kali accepted the deal and told the leader he will go with the men for the hunt in two days time.
Kali got home that day and told his wife what the leader of the town told him. Ella was not happy that her husband was going for hunt again because she knew how dangerous it was.
Two days later, Kali and his men were ready. Their boat and food stuff were ready, every man had his own weapon sharpen and ready for the hunt.
They all set sail, every man was in high spirit. Kali and his men had promised the town leader that they were going to bring enough whales to fill as much oil barrel as he wanted, but if only they knew what laid ahead of them, no man would have stepped his foot into that boat.
