▶ As you may have already heard, sugars present in plants are an important part of our daily diet, not only because they represent the main source of energy, but also because they are necessary for the correct metabolic functioning of the organism and the entire neurological system.

Among the plants that contain high sources of carbohydrates, they have the advantage of having excellent sources of vitamins, minerals and fiber, which help balance our metabolic system.

Nutritionists recommend incorporating approximately a quarter of our daily intake of carbohydrate-rich plants to maintain a normal glycemic index.
