BIENVENIDOS !!
WELCOME !!
Good morning dear community, today we are going to prepare a very Caribbean drink like tizana 😱, it is a classic Venezuelan drink, appreciated at any event or beach enjoyment. It is a relief from the heat in the summer, very similar to sangria, but it does not contain alcohol and includes other tropical fruits. The original key ingredient is grenadine to give it that pink touch, but it has been replaced by patilla juice, which is the recipe used. I use it for my chalk.
INGREDIENTES | INGREDIENTS |
---|---|
uvas verdes | green grapes |
fresas | strawberries |
arandanos | blueberries |
naranja | naranja |
mandarina | tangerine |
cambur | cambur |
manzana | apple |
pera | pear |
limon | lemon |
patilla | sideburn |
NOTE: The amount of fruits and the variety is at the discretion of each person, in my case I used portions for a 2 liter jar and the variety, since I am in a non-tropical country, I used those that arrive in season.
For the presentation in a glass we will give it a decoration that I place the ingredients below.

We start by cutting the leg in half and take out the pulp and then put it in the blender, this way we will obtain the leg juice and pour it into a jug.
We cut the lemon and orange in half and then squeeze it and add the juices to the container where the juice is.
Now we are going to add the blueberries, there is no order in adding the fruits, it is random.
We continue with the apple and pear, we must cut them into medium pieces or however you like them and add them to the container.
Now we continue with the strawberries, some cut them into pieces and others introduce them whole, it is up to your taste, in my case I got some large strawberries and cut them.
Now we peel and cut the banana and then put it in the container.
To finish the preparation we add the grapes, stir and refrigerate for an hour.
We are going to serve it in a glass, we are going to decorate the edge of the glass, it is simple, in one dish you add the sugar and in another the grenadine, you take the glass and pass a cut lemon to the edge so that it is moistened, then face down you pass the raisin for the sugar and then for the grenadine.
Now we are going to make the figure of a sun with the lemon to place it in the glass, cut the lemon, taking a slice from the middle to which you are going to pass a small knife through the pulp to be able to separate it and take the figure of the sun, then You turn it the other way around as shown in the photos and take one of the remaining parts of the lemon and insert it in the middle to finish the figure.
All that remains is to serve the drink and enjoy it, with the decoration you will be the center of attention so that they can enjoy it.
