Este fin de semana se realizó en Barquisimeto el evento conocido como Lara Fest. Una especie de feria comercial que se lleva a cabo a fin de invitar a las empresas y comerciantes a promocionar sus productos en un espacioso sitio de la ciudad llamado complejo ferial de Barquisimeto. Es en este lugar donde todos los años se realiza la feria internacional de Barquisimeto en el mes de septiembre.

This weekend the event known as Lara Fest was held in Barquisimeto. A kind of trade fair that takes place in order to invite companies and traders to promote their products in a spacious place in the city called Barquisimeto fair complex. It is in this place where every year the international fair of Barquisimeto is held in September.

Desde que llegó el sábado estuve planificando asistir al evento, pero tuve un fin de semana muy ocupado: tenía un taller para lectura bíblica el sábado a media mañana que se extendió hasta las 2 de la tarde. Luego ir a mi casa a almorzar y en la tarde salí a comprar dos cauchos para el carro, lo cual me llevó el resto de la tarde y lo dejé para el domingo. Sin embargo, el domingo tenía catequesis y misa hasta la una de la tarde y luego de 3 a 5 había reunión en la iglesia para cuadrar el itinerario de las próximas misiones a realizarse en Barquisimeto.

Al fin, al salir de la reunión pude acercarme al complejo ferial.
Al entrar al estacionamiento me dí cuenta que había mucha gente, por el número de vehículos estacionados. Esperé un poco a conseguir un lugar y me dirigí a la entrada, donde me esperaba @wbrandt para entregarme la entrada, con la que pude accesar al lugar.

Since Saturday arrived I was planning to attend the event, but I had a very busy weekend: I had a mid-morning Bible reading workshop on Saturday that lasted until 2:00 in the afternoon. Then I went home for lunch and in the afternoon I went out to buy two tires for the car, which took me the rest of the afternoon and I left it for Sunday. However, on Sunday I had catechesis and mass until one o'clock in the afternoon and then from 3 to 5 o'clock there was a meeting in the church to plan the itinerary of the next missions to be held in Barquisimeto.

Finally, after leaving the meeting I was able to go to the fair complex.
When I entered the parking lot I realized that there were a lot of people, due to the number of vehicles parked. I waited a bit to get a place and went to the entrance, where @wbrandt was waiting for me to give me the ticket, with which I could access the place.

El stand de Hive lo conseguí rápidamente porque estaba ubicado justo en la entrada. Me presentaron a @jesusalejos con el que conversé un rato y me dijo que estaba moderando la comunidad de Humanitas junto con @filoriologo y me enteré de algunos proyectos sobre teología que pronto van a lanzar como comunidad.

I got to the Hive booth quickly because it was located right at the entrance. I was introduced to @jesusalejos with whom I chatted for a while and he told me that he was moderating the Humanitas community together with @filoriologo and I learned about some projects on theology that they will soon be launching as a community.

También conversé con @omarquintero, un joven yaracuyano estudiante de psicología de la UCLA que comparte su tiempo entre el estudio y Hive.

También estaba allí @neruel, quien me dijo que era abogado y estaba estudiando la carrera de urbanismo en la UCLA. Además me orientó sobre algunas dudas que tenía sobre las publicaciones en hive.

I also talked with @omarquintero, a young Yaracuyan psychology student at UCLA who shares his time between the studio and Hive.

Also there was @neruel, who told me he was a lawyer and was studying urban planning at UCLA. He also guided me on some doubts I had about the publications in hive.

Otros hivers que estaban presentes en el stand eran @zullyscott, @eliigonzalez, @tsunsica, @yonnathang, @jessiencasa entre otros.

De visita por el resto del festival, pude observar exposiciones de caballos de paso, exhibiciones de carros, sound cars, exposiciones tecnológicas, cosméticos y una extensa y variada feria de comida.

Visiting the rest of the festival, I was able to observe horse exhibitions, carriage exhibitions, sound cars, technological exhibitions, cosmetics and an extensive and varied food fair.

En resumen, Lara Fest es la oportunidad que tienen las empresas de exhibir sus productos para que el público pueda apreciar viendo y palpando directamente el producto. En cuanto a Hive, vi mucha gente interesada en conocer la plataforma y los hivers, mucha gente joven con buena energía y motivación, activados atendiendo al público asistente.

Por mi parte quedé muy satisfecho con mi visita porque me sirvió para seguir conociendo hivers, saber un poco de sus vidas, lo que hacen y piensan de su trabajo en hive y también aproveché para seguir aclarando dudas en el mundo de los creadores de contenido.

In short, Lara Fest is the opportunity for companies to exhibit their products so that the public can appreciate seeing and feeling the product directly. As for Hive, I saw many people interested in learning about the platform and the hivers, many young people with good energy and motivation, activated and attending the public.

For my part I was very satisfied with my visit because it helped me to continue to meet hivers, know a little of their lives, what they do and think of their work in hive and also took the opportunity to continue to clarify doubts in the world of content creators.

Considero que el trabajo de hormiga que vienen haciendo los jóvenes de #hivebqto, poco a poco va generando los frutos esperados.
