Hablemos de mi experiencia y mi apreciación de la ExpotecnoDigital y obviamente la participación de Hive en este evento realizado el pasado fin de semana en el Hotel Lidotel, dentro de las instalaciones del centro comercial Sambil, ubicado al este de la ciudad y con su característica estructura de un cuatro venezolano es de los principales centros comerciales de la ciudad. Pero, antes de contarles propiamente del evento quiero mencionar el cómo fue posible que Hive llegará a este evento.
Cierto día de febrero nos encontrábamos reunidos planificando una de las actividades que realizaríamos en una de las universidades de la ciudad, y hablamos de la necesidad e importancia de estar informado de las actividades que se realizarían en la ciudad durante el año, estar enterados de lo que ocurre en la ciudad es tener un panorama completo de los espacios que pueden ser una ventana para mostrar a Hive, y nos topamos con un anuncio, en aquel momento la futura “ExpotecnoDigital” y vimos la oportunidad de poder mostrar a Hive en el área empresarial, poder llevar la web3 a espacios que aún en venezuela no se han abordado con el hincapié necesario. En Barquisimeto, nuestra visión esta más inclinada hacía la educación en torno a Hive y la web3 y pensamos que además de mostrar a Hive al mundo empresarial, también significaba la oportunidad de abrir espacios para expandir y difundir a Hive por la región.
Let's talk about my experience and my appreciation of the ExpotecnoDigital and obviously the participation of Hive in this event held last weekend at the Lidotel Hotel, within the facilities of the Sambil shopping center, located east of the city and with its characteristic structure of a four Venezuelan is one of the main shopping centers in the city. But, before telling you about the event itself, I want to mention how it was possible for Hive to come to this event.
On a certain day in February we were in a meeting planning one of the activities that we would be doing in one of the universities of the city, and we talked about the need and importance of being informed of the activities that would be held in the city during the year, to be aware of what is happening in the city is to have a complete overview of the spaces that can be a window to show Hive, and we came across an announcement, at that time the future "ExpotecnoDigital" and we saw the opportunity to show Hive in the business area, to bring the web3 to spaces that still in Venezuela have not been addressed with the necessary emphasis. In Barquisimeto, our vision is more inclined towards education around Hive and web3 and we thought that besides showing Hive to the business world, it also meant the opportunity to open spaces to expand and spread Hive throughout the region.
Básicamente fue de ese modo fue como decidimos comunicar esto a @valueplan, equipo que nos apoyó en todo momento, y junto al equipo de @hivecreators se logró la ejecución del evento.
El trabajo comenzó dos meses antes del evento desde el día que nos enteramos de la expotecnodigital, lo primero que hicimos fue trazar un plan de acción, que poco a poco fuimos dándole forma. Fueron semanas de trabajo duro pero que ahora en retrospectiva me siento satisfecho por lo logrado.
Basically that was how we decided to communicate this to @valueplan, a team that supported us at all times, and together with the @hivecreators team we were able to execute the event.
The work began two months before the event from the day we found out about the expotecnodigital, the first thing we did was to draw a plan of action, which we gradually gave it shape. They were weeks of hard work but now in retrospect I feel satisfied with what we achieved.
Hablemos de la ExpotecnoDigital:
Entre los días 14 y 16 de abril en Barquisimeto, específicamente en el Lidotel, dentro de las instalaciones del centro comercial Sambil se realizó esta ExpotecnoDigital, un evento donde se congregaron muchas empresas regionales y nacionales en el ámbito de la tecnología, aunque quizá no estemos hablando de proyectos en la punta de lo que puede ser la tecnoogía ha sido un espacio donde el networking entre proyectos ha sido algo valioso y poderoso.
Let's talk about ExpotecnoDigital:
Between April 14 and 16 in Barquisimeto, specifically at the Lidotel, within the facilities of the Sambil shopping center was held this ExpotecnoDigital, an event where many regional and national companies in the field of technology gathered, although perhaps we are not talking about projects at the tip of what can be technoogy has been a space where networking between projects has been something valuable and powerful.
Como parte del equipo organizador y HiveBuiders considero que estar presentes y ser de los principales sponsors del evento fue realmente acertado, por varias razones, pero antes dar mi visión te recomiendo pasarte por esta publicación de nuestro amigo jcrodiguez ya que el expresa de una manera muy acertada con lo que te podías encontrar en la expotecno.
No exagero ni siquiera un poco cuando digo que Hive, era el único proyecto realmente innovador, presentar a Hive como protocolo blockchain descentralizado a tantas empresas y personas que visitaron el stand fue algo asombroso, además que pudimos hablar sobre el poder que radica en esta nueva era digital gracias a la web3. Para muchas personas e incluso empresas era la primera vez que escuchaban la palabra blockchain, denotando que el camino de la educación debe continuar. Como bien lo comentó jcrodríguez en su publicación, casi ninguna de las empresas allí presentes aceptaban criptos como medios de pago.
Numerosos stand compartieron con nosotros durante los 3 días y todas conocieron a Hive, lo bueno de haber sido un grupo numeroso de Hivers es que siempre te topabas con uno en cualquier lugar de la expo. Un conocido que lleva un proyecto de noticias regional llamado Clickbqto me comentó: “Ustedes son bastantes” y sí el grupo de hivers era numeroso, demostrando una vez más que de los activos más valiosos de Hive es la comunidad.
De los stands más grandes era el nuestro, y estaba ubicado en una zona de la expo que nos permitía tener una amplia cobertura y sobre todo, ser visto por todos, no ser notados era casi imposible cosa que nos pudo permitir hablarles a todas las personas sobre Hive. Ahora bien, aunque atendimos a todos los que se acercaban al stand, no era lo único que teníamos en mente, sino, que logramos un importante alcance mediático por diferentes medios de comunicación de la región y logramos conectar con diferentes proyectos, pero, no quiero hacer demasiado spoilers antes del comunicado oficial.
As part of the organizing team and HiveBuiders I consider that being present and being one of the main sponsors of the event was really right, for several reasons, but before giving my vision I recommend you to go through this publication of our friend jcrodiguez since he expresses in a very accurate way what you could find in the expotecno.
I am not exaggerating even a little bit when I say that Hive, was the only really innovative project, presenting Hive as a decentralized blockchain protocol to so many companies and people who visited the booth was something amazing, plus we could talk about the power that lies in this new digital era thanks to web3. For many people and even companies it was the first time they heard the word blockchain, denoting that the path of education must continue. As jcrodriguez rightly commented in his post, almost none of the companies present there accepted cryptos as means of payment.
Numerous booths shared with us during the 3 days and all of them met Hive, the good thing about being a large group of Hivers is that you always ran into one anywhere in the expo. An acquaintance who runs a regional news project called Clickbqto told me: "You are quite a lot" and yes the group of Hivers was large, proving once again that one of the most valuable assets of Hive is the community.
One of the biggest booths was ours, and it was located in an area of the expo that allowed us to have a wide coverage and above all, to be seen by everyone, not being noticed was almost impossible, something that allowed us to talk to all the people about Hive. Now, although we attended to everyone who approached the stand, it was not the only thing we had in mind, but, we achieved an important media coverage by different media in the region and we managed to connect with different projects, but, I do not want to make too many spoilers before the official announcement.
Personalmente me siento muy conforme con todo lo alcanzado y por el trabajo realizado, en mi opinión siento que se sobrepasaron las expectativas, aun tengo muchas cosas que decir con respecto a la expo, pero no quería dejar pasar más tiempo sin comentar mi apreciación del evento. Ante todo, debo agradecer a todos los Hivers que hicieron esto posible, y les dedicaré una publicación a los Hivers que participarón de una u otra forma en este evento, y no solo hablo de los hivers de la región, sino como bien sabemos que Hive es global, esto no fue un evento solo de un pequeño grupo de hivers de Barquisimeto-Venezuela sino que es un logro de todo Hive.
Personally I feel very pleased with everything achieved and the work done, in my opinion I feel that expectations were exceeded, I still have many things to say about the expo, but I did not want to let more time pass without commenting my appreciation of the event. First of all, I must thank all the Hivers that made this possible, and I will dedicate a publication to the Hivers that participated in one way or another in this event, and I am not only talking about the hivers of the region, but as we well know that Hive is global, this was not an event only of a small group of hivers from Barquisimeto-Venezuela but it is an achievement of all Hive.
