The experience of taking Hive goes to School to Barquisimeto was spectacular. An intense work that left me exhausted, but with a smile on my face and very inspired.
It was the first time I gave so many talks in a row, plus some new mishaps that made the experience very new. Thanks to the support of Hive Barquisimeto, everything went amazing.
The first day we started early in a public school. There we were greeted with the surprise that the students did not show up. We suspended the activity. That school was very far away. The naturalness with which they told us they would not attend surprised me. This public institution is in a precarious situation, but unlike others there is no interest in improving.
This work I do has given me a close look at education in schools. The ones that are public are destroyed. The teachers don't go. They are empty and lifeless. Hive is the best thing that happens to those who receive us. We are an opportunity for change. We are the light in the darkness.
It is true that we cannot replace the education system. It is not our role. However Hive is becoming an educational benchmark. We know that our blockchain is something very powerful and in an environment as depressed as public education in Venezuela, it is a boost, inspiration and motivation for thousands of students.
I am more and more convinced that this project generates a great impact, even if it is not seen at first. I know that we are changing the lives of the kids.
On this first day, we went to two schools and gave 4 talks. We were very well attended. The disposition of the schools' management was excellent, very different from the one we went to first thing in the morning.

La experiencia de llevar a Hive va a la Escuela en Barquisimeto fue espectacular. Un trabajo intenso que me dejó agotado, pero con una sonrisa y muy inspirado.
Fue la primera vez que daba tantas charlas seguidas, además con algunos percances nuevos que hicieron la experiencia muy novedosa. Gracias al apoyo de Hive Barquisimeto, todo salió increíble.
El primer día lo comenzamos bien temprano en un colegio público. Ahí nos recibieron con la sorpresa que los estudiantes no fueron. Suspendimos la actividad. Era súper lejos ese colegio. La naturalidad con la que nos dijeron que no asistirían me sorprendió. Esta institución pública está en una situación precaria, pero a diferencia de otras no se ve interés de mejorar.
Este trabajo que realizo me ha hecho ver de cerca la educación en los colegios. Los que son públicos están destruidos. Los profesores no van. Están vacíos y sin vida. Hive es lo mejor que les sucede a los que nos reciben. Somos una oportunidad de cambio. Somos la luz en la oscuridad.
Es cierto que no podemos sustituir a el sistema educativo. No es nuestra función. Sin embargo Hive se está convirtiendo en un referente educativo. Sabemos que nuestra blockchain es algo muy poderoso y en un entorno tan deprimido como la educación pública en Venezuela, es un impulso, inspiración y motivación para miles de estudiantes.
Cada vez estoy más convencido que este proyecto genera un gran impacto, aunque no se vea en primer momento. Sé que le estamos cambiando la vida a los muchachos.
En este primer día, fuimos a dos colegios y dimos 4 charlas. Nos atendieron súper bien. Excelente la disposición de la dirección de los colegios, muy diferente con el que fuimos a primera hora.

Es lo más lejos que hemos llegado en Venezuela. A 360 Km de Caracas, lugar donde inició este asombroso proyecto. Más de 300 nuevos estudiantes conocieron a HIVE.
