Happy Friday, dear Hivers! I can't wait for the weekend. In the mean time, I would like to share my latest favorite ice cream from Bohol Bee Farm. This cafe sells ice cream made of real local fruits such as durian, dragon fruit, avocado, malunggay, and ube.

This cafe restaurant is originally from bohol and gradually expanded themselves to other parts of Visayas and Mindanao, parts of the Philippines. I'm impressed that despite the expansion, they still maintained their native image, evident in their menu.

The interior of the cafe is made of native wood, with a mixed of the Spanish era vibe. In case you're not aware, the Philippines was once colonized by the Spaniards so Spanish influence is pretty much evident in our architecture, food, and native language.

There's a corner inside the restaurant that is like a native souvenir shop which sells Tablea, honey, local peanut butter spreads, and other items since most of their customers here are from the other parts of the Philippines and foreigners.

My date and I ordered their ice cream in avocado flavor and spend our time conversing inside the cafe. Historically, i've tried their dragon fruit, mango, and durian flavors. This is actually the only item in their menu that i always order.

I can tell that the ingredients of this ice cream is premium because of its creamy texture and rich flavor. Plus, it has less added sugar and preservatives.

My favorite decor is this sink mirror that uses the traditional water pumping, a mixed of aesthetic and history.

Next time, I would like to try their course meals which includes Bicol express, sinigang, and other delicacies. Im pretty sure each menu is well crafted and rich in history.

That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!

Sending some love and light

Love, Jane
