Enchanted Family Excursion at Bogo City Public Plaza

“I like to compare the holiday season with the way a child listens to a favorite story. The pleasure is in the familiar way the story begins, the anticipation of familiar turns it takes, the familiar moments of suspense, and the familiar climax and ending.”
– Fred Rogers

The Three Laagan😂

Hello, lovely readers! This is @daenerhys, and I hope you're all doing well and staying cozy during this Yuletide season. As for me, I'm doing splendidly and excited to share an enchanting family adventure with all of you.

Recently, my husband, our two sons, and I had the enjoyment of visiting the Bogo City Public Plaza, and it was nothing short of magical. The entire plaza was adorned with beautiful and colorful Christmas decorations, each more dazzling and pleasant to look at. The magical decorations were the creative handiwork of different participants, including schools, clinics, event organizers, and federation groups of Bogo City, all coming together to showcase their creativity with their creations.

What made this trip even more special was learning that these splendid decorations were part of a competition. It was truly awe-inspiring to witness the level of creativity and artistry poured into each creative Christmas decoration. The use of indigenous materials and the eye-catching lights added an extra layer of beauty to the already wondrous decorations they've made. It's my first time to stroll in Bogo City Public Plaza this Yuletide season. In previous years, I wasn't able to witness personally their creative designs during Christmas Decorations Contest due to transportation conflict and I only seen it virtually through the photos posted in the Facebook. Seeing the brightly colored decorations left me awestruck.😍

During our visit, we had the pleasure of strolling around the plaza, taking in the festive sights. It was a joy to witness the immense enjoyment on my son's face as he ran around, filled with pure, and unmixed delight. His innocent excitement added an extra sprinkle of fun to our outing and seeing him enjoying our trip made me feel emotionally rewarding.

What's remarkable is that this trip was entirely unplanned. Our day began with running errands in San Remigio, followed by an enjoyable dinner at Lapyahan sa San Remigio(eating to our favorite barbecuehan hehehe). As we headed back home, my husband suggested that we take a spontaneous stroll at Bogo City Public Plaza. Little did we know that this spur-of-the-moment decision would lead to an enchanting and enjoyable trip for the laagan(adventurous) like us.

"Christmas in Fairyland" by Reina Skin Care and Aesthetic Clinic securing second place. This particular decoration is my favorite because it awakened me the feeling of living in a fairytale. The design reminds me the similarity of Cinderella's carriage but without a door hahaha, and the flowers are beautifully vibrant and colorful. It creates a magical and enchanting atmosphere that is truly captivating.⬆️
