Hello, beer tasters! ๐ป ๐ ๐ป
The 257th #beersaturday is here and time for new research in the beers world. Although the whole crypto is stagnating and even falling into unknown abysses, including our own HIVE, that's no reason not to have a few new beers.
In fact, we'll even calm down so as not to panic... because everything will go up again ... but I don't know the answer to when that will be ...
I have two beers again, one from the neighborhood, one from the island, and let's see where we are.
First, the one with less alcohol.
Sharp's Doom Bar Amber Ale
Brewed by Sharp's Brewery, Rock, Cornwall, England.
Can, 0.44l, alcohol 4.3%. It's Amber Ale style, amber coloured and less bitter than average ale.
What do the Master Brewers say?
At the mouth of the Camel Estuary in Rock, lies the treacherous Doom Bar sandbank, the inspiration for this moreish amber ale. Doom Bar is a perfectly balanced beer combining subtle yet complex flavors. This creates an amber ale that is both satisfying and deliciously moreish.
Cool, I'm ready to taste this :)
Yes, beer is amber color with creamy foam. The sip goes down the throat smoothly, first I taste the sweetness of the malt, and then later there is a subtle hop bitterness and a little taste of caramel.
In the aftertaste, everything slowly disappears. It is very similar to Staropramen Granat to me.
It may be a bit watery, but I don't mind. A refreshing and drinkable beer with a hint of caramel without any other special flavors or aromas. Suitable for a marathon, haha, but I don't mean a run but a day of drinking :) ๐
Time for memes? Of course. T-shirt idea :)
Stiegl Goldbrรคu Lager
Brewed by Stieglbrauerei, Salzburg, Austria.
Can, 0.5 l, alcohol 5% ABV. It's a Lager style, gold-colored without strong flavors, well-balanced, and highly carbonated.
What do the Master Brewers say?
Delicious, full-bodied Salzburg beer specialty. From the best domestic raw ingredients and genuine brewing, craftsmanship emerges Stiegl beers, offering an outstanding taste that can be savored with a good conscience.
Stiegl Goldbrรคu boasts an unrivaled, well-rounded, balanced, and wonderfully thirst-quenching flavor. Mildly hopped with a typical refreshing beer bouquet, golden color, a magnificent fine head, and pleasant aftertaste. The enjoyment of beer at the highest level.
Ugh, what words for a Lager! I haven't read so many praising things about beer in a long time ...
The beer is golden in color, the head is average, and disappears quite quickly. The sip goes down the throat smoothly, the hop bitterness is present and the maltiness is also present. I can't taste anything else, just the basic ingredients.
In the aftertaste, however, it all disappears quickly.
Fresh and drinkable beer, but nothing special. Balanced bitterness from hops and malt, but that's about it. An average, well, let's say classic lager without any excesses.
No better and no worse than the multitude of other industrial beers that can be found in almost every shop here.
And what am I listening to as I write this? Something from my yesterday's #newtunes post. Very specific approach to country music.
