El mes de octubre se conoce como un mes de lluvia en toda Venezuela, esas son las enseñanzas y lo que los viejos le contaban a uno de niño. Ahora mismo el tiempo está tan cambiante que no se puede predecir como en otrora. Para nadie es secreto que hemos sufrido una de las sequías más fuertes de los últimos años, muchos meses se juntaron y la espera de las lluvias se hizo más larga de lo que ocurría usualmente.
En días recientes, hemos sido azotados por una gran ola de calor, las horas de la tarde son sofocantes con la esperanza que la noche pueda refrescar nuevamente. Pero a veces esa promesa se cae por su propio peso.
Hace algunos días, estuve en el norte de la ciudad, pude observar que un gran cúmulo de nubes arropaba el cielo y sin esperar mucho se dejó caer una fuerte lluvia que se sumó a la que se dio días atrás a la granizada que aconteció en la ciudad de Barquisimeto.
Antes de la lluvia pude compartir un rato en casa de mi amigo Rafael, estuvimos haciendo cosas en el taller, nos topamos con unos perritos, fueron nuestros acompañantes del día. Lo que más me sorprendió es que luego de tomar una foto debajo del sol, a los pocos minutos ya estábamos mojados de pies a cabeza.

The month of October is known as a rainy month all over Venezuela, those are the teachings and what the old people used to tell you as a child. Right now the weather is so changeable that it cannot be predicted as in the past. It is no secret that we have suffered one of the strongest droughts in recent years, many months have come together and the wait for the rains has been longer than usual.
In recent days, we have been hit by a great heat wave, the afternoon hours are sweltering with the hope that the night can cool down again. But sometimes that promise falls of its own weight.
A few days ago, I was in the north of the city, I could see that a large cumulus of clouds covered the sky and without waiting long, a heavy rain fell that added to the one that occurred days ago to the hailstorm that happened in the city of Barquisimeto.
Before the rain I was able to share some time at my friend Rafael's house, we were doing things in the workshop, we ran into some dogs, they were our companions of the day. What surprised me the most is that after taking a picture under the sun, a few minutes later we were wet from head to toe.
