Como saben, el jueves pasado Miranda estuvo de concierto en la plaza de la Asunción, todo esto dentro del marco de la Feria Internacional del Libro en Venezuela, lo que hizo que la plaza luciera completamente diferente a como suele estar, porque aunque generalmente hay bastante movimiento al estar rodeada por la Orquesta, un teatro y la casa de la cultura, además de algunas oficinas públicas como notarias y registros, siempre es bastante silenciosa, un lugar donde se respira mucha calma.
Pero el ambiente de este jueves era totalmente festivo, de entrada, la música invadía el lugar mientras se instalaban toldos y stands para el evento que se desarrollaría horas más tarde, así que era una vibra bastante genial que incluso te ponía de buen ánimo.
Cuando llegamos, de inmediato quise recorrer la plaza, mientras iniciaba el Concierto, ya que hacia el Parque Luisa Cáceres, había mucho movimiento y colorido aportado por las distintas expresiones artísticas que ya estaban dispuestas en un sector del lugar. Una nuestra hermosa que iba desde pinturas presentadas de manera bastante ingeniosa como pueden ver en las imágenes.
Había una mesa con una gran variedad de muñecos de trapo como la decimos aquí a los muñecos de tela trabajados de manera artesanal. Este stand me entretuvo un rato porque la verdad es bastante curioso e interesante ver la variedad de personajes hechos con retazos de tela en distintos tamaños como la muñequita en miniatura que le muestro en una de las fotos.
Avanzando un poco me encontré con varios stands con una gran variedad de accesorios hechos a mano, unos más lindos que otros y a unos precios insuperables porque tenían piezas bellísimas desde 2$, la verdad unos precios de locura.
La verdad fue una idea genial tener esta feria artesanal lista mientras todo lo demás iba tomando forma porque nos permitía a los que ya estábamos en la plaza aprovechar el tiempo de espera mientras iniciaba el concierto de los pequeños músicos.
Sin dudas una tarde genial rodeada de arte y cositas lindas.
As you know, last Thursday Miranda was in concert at the Plaza de la Asunción, all this within the framework of the International Book Fair in Venezuela, which made the square look completely different from how it usually is, because although there is usually quite a lot of movement being surrounded by the Orchestra, a theater and the house of culture, plus some public offices such as notaries and registries, it is always quite quiet, a place where you breathe a lot of calm.
But the atmosphere of this Thursday was totally festive, from the beginning, the music invaded the place while awnings and stands were installed for the event that would take place hours later, so it was a pretty cool vibe that even put you in a good mood.
When we arrived, I immediately wanted to walk around the square, while the concert started, because towards the Luisa Caceres Park, there was a lot of movement and color contributed by the different artistic expressions that were already arranged in a sector of the place. A beautiful one of ours ranging from paintings presented in a very ingenious way as you can see in the pictures.
There was a table with a great variety of "rag dolls" as we say here to the handmade fabric dolls. This stand entertained me for a while because the truth is quite curious and interesting to see the variety of characters made with fabric scraps in different sizes as the miniature doll that I show you in one of the pictures.
Moving forward I found several stands with a variety of handmade accessories, some nicer than others and at unbeatable prices because they had beautiful pieces from $2, really crazy prices.The truth was a great idea to have this craft fair ready while everything else was taking shape because it allowed those of us who were already in the square to take advantage of the waiting time while the concert of the little musicians began.
Undoubtedly a great afternoon surrounded by art and beautiful things.
