Entrepreneurship seems to be synonymous with working more comfortably and under our own rules, and in a way it is, but when your business is trying to start up, schedules disappear and if by God's grace you get a job, it is difficult to say "no ". At the end of the day, the IG is not going to fill itself!
Happy day #lifestyle beautiful people, I hope you enjoyed your weekend! Mine was a bit busy but without leaving the house, and this is because our Detallitos Dulces business received some orders, so it was a working weekend. Nothing unusual for entrepreneurs, so it is part of our day to day.
Well, as I told you this weekend we were a little busy, which we really appreciated because we had two months quite slow in our business, so if work comes out on the weekend we have to adjust, not only to work but to do something fun with the kids without having to leave the house.
In fact, weekends are usually the busiest, as well as special dates because our business includes baking, breakfast surprises and candy arrangements, so many times we even have to celebrate some activities out of time or postpone activities for the weekend. And that's exactly what happened to us!
For Saturday we had to deliver some cupcakes, a fruit tray and a tres leches cake and for Sunday we had to deliver four individual tres leches (last minute orders), plus the respective delivery, so we had to get down to work and change our plans. Luckily there were no complaints from the children!
And since our schedule started on Saturday with three deliveries, we had to make something early on Friday, and that would be the tres leches cake, since we like to leave it overnight in the refrigerator before delivery so that it can be super moist at the time of delivery.
On Saturday I woke up early to make the chocolate and buttercream cupcakes, assemble the fruit tray and make the meringue to decorate the tres leches cake.
Although it may seem like a lot of work when you have already done something over and over again, it tends to get done faster and faster, so by noon I was all ready to go out to make the deliveries in the afternoon (my husband's job).
Meanwhile at home with the kids we were playing some board games which is what we usually do when we can't leave the house for some reason and it's something the kids love.
And for the night of that same day (Saturday) we had to work on the three milks for Sunday and leave them ready to decorate before the delivery, which was supposed to be on Sunday afternoon since my husband had to go to fuel pumping, which has been a whole process again these days.
To our surprise, she was free in time to make the deliveries in the morning, so I had to hurry with the tres leches meringue and by noon I was "free ". Yes, "free "... I had to draw a fossil for my daughter Miranda, because in spite of what the teachers may think, a ten year old doesn't know how to draw a fossil to hand in a "presentable " paper like they asked for, so mom has to do it!
For the afternoon it was time to wash uniforms... yes, I know, a little late but we were busy. Finally at four o'clock the kids went to visit some friends who invited them over to play and I got to watch TV for a while which is one of my favorite activities to clear my mind and relax for a while.
As you can see, life as a mompreneur is not easy and our #familylifestyle consists of maintaining a balance between our work, kids, home, friends and rest. We haven't quite mastered it yet but we adjust pretty well.

Emprender nos parece sinónimo de trabajar más cómodamente y bajo nuestras propias reglas, y en cierto modo es así, pero cuando tu negocio está tratando de arrancar los horarios desaparecen y si por cosas de Dios te sale trabajo difícilmente dices "no". A fin de cuentas el IG no se va a llenar solo!!
Feliz día gente bonita de #lifestyle, espero disfrutaran mucho su fin de semana! El mío estuvo un poco movido pero sin salir de casa, y esto se debe a que nuestro emprendimiento Detallitos Dulces recibió algunos pedidos, por lo que fué un fin de semana de trabajo. Nada raro para emprendedores, así que es parte de nuestro día a dia.
Pues bien, como les comento este fin de semana estuvimos algo ocupados, cosa que realmente agradecimos porque tuvimos dos meses bastante lentos en nuestro emprendimiento, por lo que si sale trabajo el fin de semana toca ajustarnos, no sólo para trabajar sino para hacer algo divertido con los niños sin necesidad de salir de casa.
De hecho generalmente los fines de semana suelen ser los más movidos, así como las fechas especiales pues nuestro emprendimiento abarca lo que es repostería, desayunos sorpresas y arreglos de dulces, por lo que muchas veces toca incluso festejar algunas actividades fuera de tiempo o posponer actividades propias del fin de semana. Y eso justamente nos ocurrio!
Para el dia sábado debíamos entregar unos cupcakes, una bandeja de frutas y una torta tres leches y para el día domingo cuatro tres leches individuales (pedidos de última hora), además del respectivo delivery, por lo que tocó poner manos a la obra y hacer cambio de planes. Por suerte no hubo queja de parte de los niños!
Y como nuestra agenda iniciaba el día sábado con tres entregas tocaba adelantar algo el viernes, y eso sería la torta tres leches, ya que nos gusta dejarla toda la noche en el refrigerador antes de la entrega para que así pueda estar super húmeda al momento de la entrega.
Ya para el día sábado desperté temprano para la elaboración de los cupcakes de chocolate y mantecado, armar la bandeja de frutas y hacer el merengue para decorar la torta tres leches.
Aunque pueda parecer mucho trabajo cuando ya has hecho algo una y otra vez suele realizarse cada vez más rápido, así que para medio día ya estaba todo preparado para salir a hacer las entregas en la tarde (trabajo de mi esposo).
Mientras tanto en casa con los niños estuvimos jugando algunos juegos de mesa que es lo que generalmente solemos hacer cuando por algún motivo no podemos salir de casa y es algo que a los niños les encanta.
Y para la noche de ese mismo día (sábado) tocó trabajar en las tres leches del domingo y dejarlas listas para decorar antes de la entrega, que se suponía sería el domingo en la tarde ya que mi esposo tenía que ir a sutir combustible, lo cual ha vuelto a ser todo un proceso en estos días.
Para nuestra sorpresa se desocupó a tiempo para hacer las entregas en la mañana, así que me tocó apresurarme con el merengue de las tres leches y para medio día ya estaba "libre". Sí, "libre"... debía dibujar un fósil para mi hija Miranda, porque muy a pesar de lo que puedan pensar los docentes un niño de diez años no sabe dibujar un fósil para entregar un trabajo "presentable" como lo pidieron, así que mamá tiene que hacerlo!
Para la tarde tocó lavar uniformes... sí, ya, sé, un poco tarde pero estuvimos ocupados. Finalmente a las cuatro los niños fueron a visitar a unos amigos que los invitaron para jugar y yo pude ver tele un rato que es de mis actividades favoritas para despejar la mente y relajarme un rato.
Como pueden ver la vida de mamá emprendedora no es nada fácil y nuestro #estilodevida familiar consiste en mantener el equilibrio entre nuestro trabajo, los niños, el hogar, los amigos y el descanso. Aún no lo tenemos del todo dominado pero nos ajustamos bastante bien.
